I dont think anyones mentioned this, but the sound you hear at the very beginning of closer is actually Jared playing that on his bass! He's using an octave +1 pedal to get the weird sound. i love that bass sound!  thx for that video! i actually loved 'closer' when OBTN came out, i guess i just got sick of it pretty quickly. i have to say i like the live version much much more, because of matts guitar and his different solo at the very end. the ending sounds a lot more passionate when they play this song live, and thats what i loooooove |

defo a movie song! i can just picture it now in a thriller im hopin it will be on the soundtrack to new moon... its perfect must remember to write to someone about that I agree that the song would be perfect for something like New Moon...but I'd hate it if they used it. Think about it; the band already seem to be struggling with the fact that a load of their newer fans are a bit fickle and only know and like them for OBTN (just look at what happened at Reading), so how much worse would that be if a load of teenage girls became obsessed with Closer, just because it was in a Twilight movie? Don't get me wrong, I love the Twilight books/films and I love Closer, but to combine the two would, I think, make KoL even more sick of 'fans' who have no idea that there were 3 other AMAZING albums before OBTN came out. |

naaw, why'd you think that?? i alway wanted 'closer' to be on the twilight or new moon soundtrack, but considering the whole hype about paramore simply cause they were part of the first OST i think it's best if it doesn't happen to KOL  even though this movie and 'closer' totally fit together imo.. |
