no one wants to hear your shit hippy. If the album doesn't sound good sober it's not good. I'm sure fucking Brittney Spears would sound great if I was on e or something. Drugs make everything sound better. Erm.... that's not true.

Drugs make everything sound better. Careful now, you wouldnt want your karma to go down. Besides smoking pot doesnt make you a hippy, just ask the Kings.

I thought I would just say that the new album is fucking great. Every song just like Ah Shake Heartbreak is excellent. The person who started this thread probably only listened to this album once or twice. After my first listen I thought the album sucked! After a few more I thought it was alright. Now after a ton of listens I think it is their best album. Can't wait to see them in May.

This is a sell out and will always remain a sellout (See my post about On Call). All these people talking about 'new maturity' are talking out of their arses. This is about Leon chasing the buck and being able to by nice houses and cars and all the other trappings of succesful 'Rock Stars', while simultaneously shafting their established fans in the hope of attracting a wider audience.

i actually think this album sounds less commercial than Aha Shake Heartbreak. I dont here too many radio friendly songs. On Call isnt radio friendly at all. I actually havent heard it on the radio once.

i dont think they're 'chasing the buck'. they deserve to be successful and if this is the album that makes it so then great. id be really dissapointed if it went to their heads, i may be wrong but i cant see that happening. they are already huge here in england and they still seem down to earth
and i was going to say something else but my brain just shut down

So that's okay then. You haven't heard it on the radio in Chicago, then nobody is playing it? Get a grip.

Best album/gig of the year. The album IS different from the first two,and in response to the people who are calling it mainstream, that's just rubbish, they could never be mainstream! Check out a KOL gig and personally I love the fact that Caleb doesn't profess his love for the audience after every song, the band just get on with it, unlike some other brown nose bands. As is always the case when a band is on the verge of being massive (when this album is released it WILL happen) some fans just don't like it because they're no longer their secret. KOL deserve the accolades they are going to receive for this epic album

i think the new album is great and it really grows on you, the first listen is all seemed a bit weird but that was cos i was expecting it to be in the same style as the first two but once i,d got that out my mind and listened to it properly it is a fantastic piece of work and a welcomed change.over all i,d said all three albums are superb and its pretty hard to say that about any band today,in my eyes the kings are the greatest and i could listen to all three albums all day long,i find it hard to find a song i have to skip on any off there albums.keep the good work coming lads

to the people who think the album is shit i,d say to them find me three better albums from any band i would respect your opinion but if you think the new ones poor as its not in the same style as the first two i,d say wake up and listen. all in all its a great album and to move forward you have to make changes,i think a lot more work has gone into this album and it pays off the more you listen to it, although it hasn,t got the instant hooks and riffs of the first two i still love it and can tell they have matured and have alot more confidence in making music. can,t wait for number four to see what they come up with.these guys are special and deserve more credit, there is a load of shite that makes up the charts these days and as time goes by the kings with rightfully take there place amongst the legends, or they fucking should

i agree, i love the new album, and it gets better every time you listen. to the person who said they made it to chase mainstream success, i completely disagree, the album is a lot less "poppy" than their previous two, and definitely doesn't sound mainstream, at least not compared to other mainstream music here in the UK
