ok ok ok... its growing on me, i think i prefer the rougher live versions of it though. if u listen carefully to the vocals on the first verse, u can actually hear where each sentence has been dubbed over each other. like taking the best cuts of 3 or 4 different attempts, it makes it sound unnatural, but that and the vocal effects aside its still an awsome song. cant wait to hear it live! alot more powerful!

I loved ! I'm sure it's the better version, the beats are amazing in the music... =D But the art wich appear when the music plays isn't from the single... could be the cover of the album!

I think it's absolutely fantastic, the song is the shit as always. but I have to agree with you that the way the vocal effects overlap each other on each line of the chorus is a little off-putting, at least on initial listens. Brings the production into attention a little instead of the rocking-ness-ity

yep your right about the overlapping, but what I'm not to sure about this song is that is sounds a little too manufactured, its not raw sounding, and its the rawness that attracts me to the music in the first place. your right about the live version though its much better

I can't get enough of it! It has a lot of intensity and anticipation that keeps making the song sound as though it should/could break out at any moment, which is a great asset when bringing in a chorus. I love the little delay on the bass and the Nathan's drums are tight as always. Matthew's solo is special too. The way it follows Caleb's vocal melody at the start then goes its own way is great. Melody is is a big, big thing in a song for me and this has it! I reckon it'll be even better live.

i have to say this new song is quite dissapointing... the guys have abandoned their roots and sold out completely, if the new album is anything like this. from the synth intro to the droning bass, this song lacks the punch of the last two records. c'mon guys! i wish they'd stop trying to sound like audioslave by whoring out for radio airplay. i hope other kol fans, who have been around since youth and young manhood like me, feel the same way and i'm not just going crazy.

Its called growing artistically. If they had just pumped out another Y&YM or ASH they would have just been called boring and slagged of because they are too afraid to experient.

Jeeez... It's one song, wait until the album comes out before putting a downer on it. I know we're all on suicide watch until we can get our hands on it. How long did it take them to put this record together...? they said during 'ash' they were writing songs for it, so these new songs will undoubtedly be from the heart, not geared to radio play and breaking America. As someone said, they are growing as a band, trying different sounds, who wants 3 x yymh? that's what that recorord was about, ash was anorther stage in their growth, and bott will be another chapter.
I personally love on Call and can't wait for the new record!
Just my 10 cents worth.

I love hearing the new song (the vocal intro that it has is great), but I don't think the bass is prevalent enough, and hearing the live versions it seemed to me that the bass was going to be the driving force behind the new stuff. I love the song don't get me wrong, I'm down with the Kings through it all I think they're kick ass! But I do like rocking out to the live version a little more.

okay dont start saying KOL is selling out...they told us from the beg. that the new album was gonna have a bigger sound to it and use more equipment than before... every album has been diff. and instead of their rawness thats what attracts me that they arnt doind the same musis over and over.. I hope this album has more success and goes big and will i call it selling out NO.
