I suppose you have a point serenity ..to be honest im not that keen on bono but some of there songs are cool. besides i think its just some of U2s fans who wont give them a chance  |

also its not kool they got booed but i mean if i payed all that fuckin money to see kol and had to sit thro sum band id prob never heard of in my life and who have very little interaction wit an audience id b fuckin pissed 2..... You don't have to like the suporting band, but at least show them a little respect. If you don't like it just shut up and wait to the concert to end so you can see U2. It's not something hard to do and I'm sure you wouldn't like that if you were the one on stage. You paid to see U2, not Kings of Leon so you should expect a good concert from U2. Bono likes them that doesn't mean his fans have to like them, but at least show some respect for them. |

I've just joined and am waiting to be 'accepted'.. bloody annoyance. Anyway i'm going to tell them that kings of leon are FUCKING AWESOME and in no way does caleb sound like a 'can opener' - are u2 fans experts on how can openers sound like then? They obviously don't know good music when it hits them.

Just to add my penny or two.
U2 are a band I particularly don't like, (which doesn't go down well when you are from Ireland) but I feel they deserve to be respected etc, etc...
My point is that these fans which are rejecting Kings of Leon as a truly great band are wrong. It's nothing about calling them idiots or whatever, it's about the fact that they will see in the future people talking about Kings of Leon the same way U2 are discussed today and they will proudly smile and say, "I seen those guys years ago and they were bloody awesome."
It's obvious that Kings of Leon have this strange musical talent that has hit a lot of nerves (the good types).
Kings are the future. Hell, their the present.
And since The Strokes were entered into the convo above - another band that will go down in history. Undoubted individuality and brilliance.

but i jst didnt understand the whole bonos a dickhead thing when its totally irrealavant to the thread really
and even if u dnt like u2 u have to respect a man whos singlehandedly is tryin to wipe out 3rd world debt hes a fantastic person !
