I wish they would find someone else to produce, like Jack White or Rick Rubin. Something new. Rick Rubin's a bit of a production whore.  He's done all sorts of music, having started off with rap/hiphop like the Beastie Boys and Jay-Z and continuing with heavy metallers like Metallica & System of a Down, to Neil Diamond & even the Dixie Chicks nowadays. Jack White would actually be an interesting choice as producer. |

yeah jack white, i'm all for jack white! but i guess they'll stick to their roots (means angelo and ... uh, forgot that other guy's name...  ) maybe our kings even start producing themselves, that'd be cool and i think caleb definitly could do it  |

Get Ryan Adams to do it. Ethan Johns did his early work so RA would be in the same vein as Ethan. Adams has produced before, he did Willie Nelson's record about five years ago. Jack White or Ryan Adams. White lives in Nashville. Just someone new is all I want.

I think they should produce their own album. I don't even know why musical artists hire producers, they pretty much become an extra member of the band then. I want to hear what it would sound like with JUST the 4 guys and no outside influences. Indie, baby!  And woohooo they're officially recording!! I suddenly want to live in NY for the next 2 months! |
