Well, that deserves a huge congratulations!  I know it's unlikely because it's not the year their album came, but I want them to get some sort of band award, rather than for individual songs, I think it would mean so much more... |

I think so, although they did get a band/ album nomination too didn't they? It's hard to keep up, there are SO many Grammy categories. "Performance by a duo or group with vocals" - it's hard to get more specific than that!

ok i'm confused. I watched this (well, half of it) and I don't remember them mentioning KOL at all. I saw the record of the year nominees and they weren't in there. Am I losing my mind? How could I have missed that? Well I was playing cards with my friend, but anytime I hear the words "kings" or "leon" I always take notice!! |

^ "record" isn't the same as "album, which is where I got confused, so maybe that's what you heard... This is so cool!! I don't really like Use Somebody that much as a song, (hence my posting of this face above, but I'm willing to let that slide and be happy for them!) |

Congrats to the boys on being nominated! It's good to see their best songs getting the recognition  I just had a quick skim through the whole list and its kinda shitty haha! Pearl Jam should win best Rock Song over KOL though *runs* |

I think they have a really good shot at winning a couple of these! Use Somebody seems to have been more popular than SOF (well, here in West Virginia it was...not sure about the rest of the country?) If they do win, I hope it's for a category that's actually televised this year! |
