yeah, this popularity- grammy equation really sucks! but we know how great KOL are,and I hope the new record will be completely different from OBTN like they're saying! for now, let's hope they win at least one of these Grammys!

I knew it! It's not the way Caleb would like to be and so he'll rethink the last album and do a new better one now!

I think that article is assuming a little much by saying they are "refusing to promote the album"....I mean look how OBTN heavy the set list was this summer and how many tv shows they were on singing SOF and US...that doesn't sound like they are refusing to promote it to me. Yeah I do think they have gotten alot more attention than they wanted like Caleb said, but I think that statement is stretching it a bit. Oh and Nathan's word "Nashvillian"?? I love Nate, he is hilarious!

They could've added the word 'anymore' to that quote of them not wanting to promote OBTN. It sounds about right then.

They could've added the word 'anymore' to that quote of them not wanting to promote OBTN. It sounds about right then. I'm not so sure about that either. Didn't Nate say in one of the other Grammy vids that they might make another video? I think these magazines get a quote from them and then start adding their own little twists and make up stuff to make it sound worse than it is. I really don't trust anything I read anymore...I believe it when I hear it out of their own mouths.

What's there to promote? It's been promoted to death.
I reckon that "anymore" is probably the right word to add. And thank G-d for that!
Even my mom is digging that song "where your Caleb is against the wall"...And my mom is no spring chicken, even if she doesnt wear mom jeans!

why would they promote an album anymore that's been out for a year and a half when they are getting ready to make the next one... that article kind of makes it seem negative when in reality i think it's just the normal progression of an album

Well Nate said that the record company wants another video but that they themselves weren't too sure about that because they're on a break now & how they should just do a cartoon one instead. Nik, your mom sounds cute, saying "your Caleb."

What's there to promote? It's been promoted to death. Yeah I that's what I thought too but Nate said there might be one more video. I can't imagine why they would want to put out another single...if people don't already have the cd by now, I really don't think another single is going to make them go buy it.

Carrie, that's exactly what I think....the article makes it seem like they refusing to do something when the reality is they don't "need" to promote this album anymore.

Oh yeh, she always says "your Caleb". "Heard your Caleb on the radio! He always sounds like an old man!" She used to call him Kevin, but finally got it right and now he is Caleb, sometimes CaleV, if she forgets. Whatever happened to the biker video? Was it for Revelry? Maybe it was shelved, but now they'll release it? Or rather, closer to the release of the next album? To trigger memories and generate some interest?

Yea that biker video was for Revelry. I've been hoping to see it, because over here Revelry's been released as a (radio?) single.

I can't WAIT to get my hands on that Spin mag, it'll at least put all that into perspective... Although I think I've learnt (finally) not to really believe anything they say, unless I want to It all comes out differently the next time . *insert "how do I know you're lying" quote here...* On a slightly different note, I regained a little (little being the operative word) bit of love for Use Somebody last night, I think I can handle listening to it once every 2 weeks when nobody else is around... But that's it Not saying it's a bad song, I just don't like it. But hopefully they win something, go out on a high, and that will be the end for a while. Burn it to the ground!! *pulls out matches*
