I wanna hear this music radar interview (anyone have it?) cause i can't quite understand why Caleb would be wanting to recreate a sound he already has, on a well now, ex, guitar? Thanks for the guitar talk  Why does it make you angry prince of leon, cause you can't buy it? Why would anyone sell it and there could be no price if one were to but i feel yr .. anger  |

But its not new, its from a few months ago... There's also a short vid where Nacho shows the mag their rig, which explains a bit more about the Gibson. I think if I hadn't seen/ listened to those I wouldn't be as upset about the guitar though... So, you have been warned

hello, something ends and something beginns that gibson is now history maybe he left something behind, that gave a hard pressure for him, to do something special to make a cut, like this. a time periode has been closed. new one starts. new tunes? other, caused of a new guitar and new starting point/reaching point? making music and doing some.things good. .......................................................................................................................................................... red pants? |

Sometimes you just need to learn to let go. You can do it the hard way or the easy way, I'm trying for the easy way. Caleb is a silly. So what's new? Hmm, maybe he really is "a wanker who needs to clean up his shit". Or not. Not this time. Anyway, I'm with onesome on this - new guitar, new times, new music, the future is bright, the glass is half full, etc. It's what you do with your humbuckers that counts, not what size they are |

ticboo...yes!...I totally agree...new times,new music....etc. That is why I don't understand why so many people are saying the Kings have sold out with their newest music?  My interest in pics of the guitar smashing have more to do with Nate than Caleb...would love to see a pic of Nates reaction to having his drum destroyed...lol. |

yeah, but it has to be said, Nathan has some ..... interesting facial expressions sometimes. I'd quite like to see this one added to the collection. To contrast with the 'deer-caught-in-the-headlights' one.

lol ticboo you talking about the 'bambi eyes'? 'the doe eyes'? the 'big ole hound dog eyes'? RS is a classic for that! it made me laugh, it's so put on i think his expression would be something very nonchalant accompanied by a 'you can break it and you can pay for it too'. It was just the skin though wasn't it and i always thought he had loads of different kits cause of the changing colour of them? Thanks Jeffica and also for the warning! I might shed a tear :s and dipsy! - great name! Here's to the turning of a new page! |

Here's to the turning of a new page! *clink* hahaha! Whiskers, 'nonchalant' and 'you can break it and you can pay for it too' sounds amazing, I'd like to see that! In slow mo. I'm also kind of hoping his expression was 'astounded' swiftly but effortlessly merging into a heady mixture of 'brutal' and 'violent', combined with effortlessly 'sexy' and 'cool', just for the cheap thrill. Sadly I think that would have been too complicated for Nate. Probably it was just 'deer caught in the headlights'. I think it was just the skin that broke, at least that's what's being said. And all that duct tape! I'd make Caleb pay for new duct tape too. |

I always thought he had quite an expressive face  If it was just the skin and none of the structure was damaged then i don't think it would be particularly expensive to replace. What is with them destroying their equipment lately? Isn't there stuff quite rare, Jared's white bass, the Thunderbird -that can't be the right name surely?! *imitates puppet* - that's rare too isn't it? It seems like they're pissed off with their sound Does anyone know how long jared used a thunderbird bass for cause the white version was for BOTT - right? what did he use before, wasn't it a fender at one point? answers on a postcard!  Back to The Baby, i'm gna dwnload those links now and have a little cry x |

Not especially, I think just angry/ frustrated... but who knows what goes on inside that head really!
I really really need to get over this guitar. I think I said it in another thread, but I agree with Ticboo - I must remember it is just an instrument (albeit a very cool one with personality and a certain je ne sais quoi magic - ah crap!)
Repeat to self: its not as if they've broken their musicality.... Sigh. *desperately tries to convince herself of this. Fails*

I don't think it really matters as such, but there's (in my convoluted mind) a big difference between destroying it in a drunken rage, and destroying it because of sound problems. Just in the sense that, with the latter option, it is a logical(ish) thing to do, if a little over the top. The former is just wanton destruction (although that in itself can be very satisfying ) So who knows really? Haha I'm gonna stop trying to mindread now, I've been doing too much psychology homework |
