Other than the lyrics I don't think it sounds like ASH at all. It didn't make it onto ASH for a reason!  It's definitely my least favourite song on OBTN, though I do like the "I can call you baby..." bit. |

the "she only 17...etc etc" part is actually very good...but the rest of it is pretty awful... some of the lyrics could not be more lame

I definitely remember an interview where Jared said they had tried to put 17 on ASH and then BOTT but it didnt fit in either of them so thats why its on OBTN, so i wonder if they re-recorded and changed parts of the song (not that theres a lot to it) for OBTN?? Because it doesnt sound like anything on ASH (to me) and if they did then surely they could have thought of a second verse at some point?! It just doesnt seem finished to me  |
