I looked to see if this thread was on here yet but didn't see. If you go to Grammy.com you will find the Kings are nominated for 3. Rock album, rock group, & rock song(Sex On Fire). I thought this was totally awesome. Especially the groups they are categorized with. They have really came a long way & are FINALLY getting the recognition they deserve!  |

Coldplay is probably gonna win though, and then they are nominated with Metallica too? Their chances are slim to none, but whatever, I actually have a reason to watch the Grammy's again. (I usually only watch when U2 is nominated  ) |

First, I'll start screaming, then I'll start crying, then I'll be like, "Oh my god, oh my god." I love Coldplay, but "Sex on Fire" is a better song than "Violet Hill" in my opinion. So, I think they have a pretty decent shot at best rock song, and as Edge said, he's a member of the Academy, and since the boys toured with U2, maybe he'll slip in a vote for the Kings? *wink, wink*

I never cared about the Grammys before but I just let out a huge scream and started jumping up and down when I read it on the Grammy website (causing my poor cat to freak out a bit)...OMG this is HUGE! If I find out they will be there I am going to go hang out at Staples Center and cheer like crazy for them on Feb.8!
