hope this isn't posted somewhere else, couldn't see it... who else is going Friday?? my first time seeing KoL, travelling from Cheshire so hope the weather isn't still freezing across the pennines!  i got my tickets off ebay (yeah, i know one born every minute...) and when they came one says red doors and one says blue doors, i've googled it and apparently it's some sort of crowd control thing but it's a free for all to get to the front - has anybody been to sheffield before - is there anything i need to know and is it obvious to know where to wait to catch a glimpse of the guys arriving/leaving? |

Im off to the sheff gig, the best thing is get there early and run your heart out to get to the front, there are a few entrances in all corners and a few inbetween- sheffield is good for gigs, not sure where to go to see them arrive tho, depends how your getting there- driving go to the car park and go around the other side, going by tram get off at the stop before centertainment (sorry i forgot) and head towards the other side of the building, hopefully you should get a glimpse that way

Yeah, I think if I remember correctly from Sheffield the different coloured entrances are on different sides/ends of the building so best to get there as early as you can otherwise it might be a sprint round the venue to the right door!

^^thanks guys for your help, i'm really worried about the weather and getting there  the person i'm going with won't be finishing work til about 3.30pm and we will be driving up then, we are going to have to wait at the different entrances and run for the front but I think we might end up stuck at the back  still at least we'll be there... what time do you reckon people will be queueing from?? |

After Nottingham last night I wish I was going, but when the tickets were on sale I was cutting back on spending. |

You will be given a wristband in exchange for your ticket for the standing area and only allowed in with that. Sheffield are rather strict on it and unless you have the wristband you wont be allowed down, Although most of the entrances onto the floor are hardily ever looked at so you should be able to sneak down if your on first floor seating, I think after an hour of Foo fighters playing half the arena was standing on the floor. Velvet10- Setting off from cheshire at half 3 should be plenty of time, Ive managed to swap my seated tickets for some standing ones and Im not setting off until doors open at 7:30 (i think) hoping to push my way forward |

We're not leaving til quarter past 7 from Leeds, and we'll be on the train. When I was younger I always used to want to get there early, nowadays I just can't be arsed  |

hey, I am also going from cheshire and been keeping an eye on the roads... looks as though it will be okay at the moment... but might be a bit icy on the way home. cannot wait, already seen them this tour in philly and will also be seeing them in manchester.... hope i don't overdose ha ha ha ha :-)

hey! im sophie who becs mentioned! im sorry i cant really help cos i havent looked into the backstage/possible meeting the guys cos im going with my dad  . but i reckon you could have a mosey around after. its freeking freezing at the moment so dress accordingly! dont worry about the set up of sheff though as long as you have a ticket and go to the right doors itll be grand! p.s have a good time! i know i will WAHHHOOOOO |

Its getting quite cold in Sheff now, now its dark seems to be getting colder- proper cant wait!!
Oh if your getting the tram nearest stop is arena/don valley stadium- the arena is on the right if your coming from meadowhall, on your left coming from town (its rather big so you shouldnt miss it!)
