Kings of Leon's tour dates across U.K. and Australia are threatened as the band's members are reportedly in feud due to Caleb Followill's drinking habit. "The others have warned Caleb over and over again that they weren't happy about his drinking but he carried on regardless," a source told The Sun.
In a further explanation, the source hinted that the rockers have been in dispute for many times but somehow managed to sort it out. The source said, "The lads have always fought but they usually sort it out the next morning. Things are completely different this time. The label is deeply concerned that if they don't sort out their differences the tour won't go ahead."
In a separate occasion earlier, Jared Followill admitted that what put them into a battle was indeed Caleb's drinking habit. "The only time we fight is when Caleb's drunker than he's ever been so it's not really him. He wakes up and he doesn't remember any of it," he stated.
Kings of Leon will kick off their tour on December 1 at The Brighton Centre in Brighton and continue the next day at Trent FM Arena in Nottingham, U.K. Several Australian and European dates have also been added to the band's calendar event. For more details on their tour, fans can log on to their official website. From: www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00020228.htmlHmmmm, i dont believe this rubbish....at least I hope so!!! I fear this is the kinda shit (unfounded rumours I mean) the Kings and ourselves have to put up with now that they are moving into the big time

You know what? i don't believe it..well its probably true to a certain extent, but i don't think the drinking will cause such a big issue. like they always say, theyre a family band.they will fix things.

Caleb may be a disasterous drinker but he's also WAY too driven and professional to let it jeopardise their first UK arena tour. It's just a slow news week for The Sun and they've picked up on the Q Magazine article, that's all.

Ya.....its rubbish fo sho!! Jebus, even Xfm are jumping on the bandwagon Kings Of Leon are rumoured to be fighting among themselves days before their high-profile UK tour starts... according to tabloid reports. In a story in today's Sun, a "major bust-up over frontman Caleb [Followill]'s boozing" is threatening peace and harmony in the Leon camp. Although the band claim to have calmed down since their hell-raising early days, the singer's alleged drinking habits have caused ructions among the Followill family, causing label bosses no end of worry, with the "Only By The Night" tour due to start in Brighton on Monday (December 1).
"The others have warned Caleb over and over again that they weren’t happy about his drinking but he carried on regardless," a source told the paper. "The lads have always fought but they usually sort it out the next morning. Things are completely different this time. The label is deeply concerned that if they don’t sort out their differences the tour won’t go ahead.”
The singer told Q magazine this month about another problem that had been troubling him in the past - anorexia. Followill developed an obsession with exercising as a teenager, due to problems with his self image. "I always thought I wasn’t good enough," he explained before going on to reveal that he still isn't happy with the way he looks. “I want to look like I can defend myself. I want a guy to look at me in a bar and know that he can’t talk shit to me or run me over, even though he probably could."

This is a pile of ass ( I cannot put it any more eloquently!). They obviously picked up a copy of Q and decided to make a juicy story out of it. The boys are known for going out and having a good time where has "the sun" been for the last few years??

Yeah I heard this on Phantom there a few minutes ago. I don't think its gonna jeopardise the tour at all. They all drink excessively. Thats what makes them the Kings.

i could imagine that its true. i mean...how often did even caleb say he's behaving like an asshole and the next morning he can't even remember what he did or said... i guess it can be totally annoying to be around caleb when he's drunken every night poor lily whatever, i just hope they're professional enough not to let alcohol ruin their career and their lives

It would be good for Caleb if he would quit drinking. I love the band, and being a functioning alcoholic can easily go into being a nonfunctioning one. Take care, Caleb. I wish you the best!
