At last some sense Kings Of Leon On The Verge Of Break-Up by Paul Cashmere - November 30 2008 photo by Ros O'Gorman
Kings Of Leon may soon be no more, according to The Sun in the UK.
Oh wait a minute, did we say the UK Sun? Well, it looks like another of their bullshit headliners is getting some mileage.
The Sun is big on sensationalism but light on credibility. Whenever they want to make up a story, who do they call for a quote? The infamous “source”, that’s who.
So who do they attribute the KOL break-up story too? Ah, “the source”.
Here’s how it reads in The Sun … “A source said: “The others have warned Caleb over and over again that they weren’t happy about his drinking but he carried on regardless.”
“The lads have always fought but they usually sort it out the next morning. Things are completely different this time.”
“The label is deeply concerned that if they don’t sort out their differences the tour won’t go ahead.”
So lets all file this one under bullshit folks. The world tour starts Monday in England. The new single is out next week. And there is nothing like a bit of bullshit to catch the eye of the readers just before a tour.
I'm loving Paul Cashmere right now!!!

So, I live in San Francisco, and the local station just started talking about it as well.
It's quite laughable actually. He said the same thing everyone is saying, that they are in jeopardy and having serious problems.
So I decided to text him and let him know where it started and not to trust the sun. He responded with this text and I quote:
"ha@ i actually read it on nme.com tonight and got confirmation from their record label RCA that the band are having some serious problems right now"
I called in to try and talk to him but he was too busy so I am just going to email him. He said I could call next week to try and talk about it. This email is going to be an essay by the time I'm through.

Hmmm...couldn't find a word about it on NME.com. However, the exact same story the Sun printed is showing up in news reports from all over the world (I saw one from Croatia)! So who knows...we shall see Monday night, right?

^^ Yeah I just looked at nme.com and nothing. I even searched and nothing about it came up. What a cheeky little bullshitter that DJ is.

They're obviously not taking it seriously. So we shouldn't.

I'm sure if this was true, we would've heard by now, considering the tour starts tonight.

^ I wouldn’t be, there is nothing on nme or their official site.
It’s all just a bit of extra publicity for KOL anyway considering their tour starts tonight and their single is officially out soon.

Did the Sun say that the guys aren't talking to Caleb? Well everyone who goes to watch KOL tonight will probably be able to see if anyone talks to Caleb or if there is tension or whatever.

I doubt very much the record company would answer a call from a random DJ and say "oh ya, they are having awful problems, its all true"
Give me a fucking break!!!!
