^^ Yeah I just looked at nme.com and nothing. I even searched and nothing about it came up. What a cheeky little bullshitter that DJ is. Yeah I emailed him an extensive letter and he emailed back about ten minutes later saying that it was the Sun article he had seen not NME. He prob was just too busy to remember or notice where it was he seen it. I doubt very much the record company would answer a call from a random DJ and say "oh ya, they are having awful problems, its all true" Give me a fucking break!!!! Actually, he isn't a random dj. He's a pretty big figure in the music business. He is the main guy at the radio station and the Programming Director. He also runs a club in SF. So, he has a lot of friends in the business. One of his best friends is the guy who signed the Killers to Island. It was Aaron who brought them to this guys attention after he got an import from the UK... I could go on and on about this guy basically. So he isn't just a random DJ. On the same note, he also helps pick some of the rock categories for the Grammys and I will be trying to convince him to get the Kings on there. I don't know how much influence I will have but I will do my best. |

I have fond this in Internet: Talking to Hot Press, Nathan Followill says it's all systems go for his band's Irish dates
Speaking exclusively to Hot Press today, Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill laughed off recent internet and tabloid rumours that his band are splitting due to singer Caleb's battle with the bottle.
"According to that, this tour wasn't even going to happen," he told Peter Murphy, "so I think the fact that we've already played eight or ten shows should dispel that rumour. We don't know where that really came from. It was kinda funny, I mean, I'm sure some people looked at it as something that we leaked ourselves as a PR tactic to get our name back out there, but that would have been kind of silly to do. We're going on the biggest tour of our lives, I don't think we needed any help! The greatest thing was, when we landed here (in the UK), our security guy handed us the paper, and it was all: 'Kings Of Leon Cancel Their Tour'. And we were like, "'Sweet!
