Today I was watching X Factor and there was a competition question That went something like:

Q:Who won last years X Factor? Was it?:

A.)-Kings of Leon
B.)-Leon Jackson
C.)-Leon Trotsky

It angered me that Kol were even mentioned as possible X Factor contestants!

haha thats just typical though...this debate could go round in circles, some people are grand with them hitting the big time and can ignore it, and some cant, but i for one was always glad of having a music taste that no one else shared, because it was MINE, and now its everyones, it sucks!
this tour will separate the wheat from the chaff tho, mark my words

I'm cool with it except I think it's just the bigger venues they play and the more people are going to see them then that means they wont be coming out to meet the fans anymore or they will kind of have to play more of the newer stuff and abandon the old because the new fans will only want to hear tracks from Only By the Night.

Although I can't help but feel happy for them that they're getting what they deserve
I would prefer smaller venues, but as long as they don't start playing like 50 000 or something stupid every gig, then I'll be alright

Ok, so now he likes to pick up on KOL. He goes on about how shit they are. Bla bla bla. So I told him I'd listen to him, as soon as he washes his face, and gets rid of his spots, so I can at least look at him with out feeling sick

He hasn't talked to me about music since then.

Ummm yeah i feel pretty bad, when i started this thread i dont think i realised how protective i am!. my friend came back from leeds (i havnt seen her in MONTHS and shes a sweetheart but has rubbish music taste), she started talking about s.o.f. and then i got all "well you went to leeds the year i wanted to go, and you hated it!" and she kinda looked sad and said "oh well i like that call song, is that the name?"
"NO!" *looks angrily at friend through a gin haze, but then continues*
"i would have enjoyed that whole weekend! and you just wasted the experience! ITS KOL FOR GODS SAKE!"

Yeah, thats bad.
