Was one of them a Monaghan guy with a stray trilby hat and a white shirt and black tie on? I saw that guy! I was sorta giving out cos i hate people wearing those kind of hats to gig cos it blocks peoples view! But i still can't recall seeing you by your description.....

The boys were in top form with caleb telling us he was mad they hadnt decided to finish up the tour here as we were the best crowd of the tour, and do you know what i believe him (he thanked the belfast crowd for the support etc but nothing near the praise dublin got) He also was shimmying more than the other 2 gigs i've seen this tour. Yep! I hate to gloat, but as a Dubliner I was kinda proud that Caleb said it was the best night of the tour and they wish they'd ended the tour in Dublin . I went to two of the English gigs, and Belfast, and he definitely seemed to be most excited about Dublin. So yay for Ireland Yeah, and he said, "America are acting like they knew us from the start now. But uh-uh, we know". Personally I loved the Brighton gig the most on this tour because it had by far the best setlist (all the goodies, plus McFearless and Arizona) and the crowd around me were die-hard fans who were going mental for every song. But I can imagine that for the band Dublin was the best. When I looked around and saw every single person on their feet singing and clapping I felt really proud of the boys

I still dont see that its an insult to american fans..sorry guys theres no denying how many copies of the first 2 albums were shifted over here compared to the states, and the press coverage etc. Obviously they know they have fans in america who have been following them from the start, but as they say it wasnt enough for their record company to have kept them on

I know it pisses you guys off when you hear these things, but he is saying these things to British and Irish fans who HAVE given them the success they have today. I can understand why you don't wanna hear it, but it is true.

Let's not try to start something in here Sadie, because I am very happy that the guys give the UK credit, God knows they deserve it.
It's just pointless trying to explain it, because there's no way anyone could understand unless they are from the US

I've heard them say that America are finally getting them and they are happy about it and they have said its great that they are on the radio over there etc. Thats positive, why always dwell on the negative?? They're not always "shitting on the americans" so why not just let them say thanks to UK & Ire and let us have our moment??? I feel a smite coming on but I dont mean it in a bad way its just hard to hear this in every thread!!!!!!!

Claire, I totally understand how it can be annoying, and now Sadie and I are going to discuss it between the two of us. It's just a whole lot more complex than that. But the public talk of it ends here ..

It's just pointless trying to explain it, because there's no way anyone could understand unless they are from the US Of course we can understand, it's not rocket science . And it happens the other way too you know, when musicians, artists & actors from this part of the world get success in the U.S. and don't pay homage to the countries that produced them. It is pissy for the really dedicated die-hard fans who have been there from the beginning. But it would be even pissier if the Kings didn't acknowledge that this part of the world has made the band what it is today.

K this is why I said it would end, because I have a counter-point in my head to everything that you say But I don't want to cause conflict or argument or whatever.. And Schnucs it is clearly bothering you and everyone else here, so no we won't talk about it on the forum! Heheh that's what PM's are for
