Just read in the indo:
The line up for the official opening of the rather unimaginatively named 02 Arena on Dec 16 is still a closely guarded secret although the Kings of Leon have been confirmed for two nights later................And for those who like to get up close and personal with their music heroes (that'd be me!!), the new seat layout means that punters will never be more than 60 metres from the front of the stage. The classic amphitheathre design of the new arena also means there will be no more pillars to obstruct the view of the stage. Meanwhile, the owners hope that a total of 14 bars and 250 toilets will keep queuing to a minimum.

There is, it's on their site or something.
I'm glad they got rid of the pillars in The Point, they were SO annoying, there was always a line of free seats behind them. And 14 bars... impressive.

Hey, new member. I'm looking for tickets, about 6 to be precise. Usually i buy online but i made the fatal error this time of queuing old skool at ticketmaster in Stephen's Green and 8 mins into my hungover, coffee-in-hand stand-off we were told there were no more tickets. Upset. I've been to four shows and really wanted to go to get my Xmas cheer off to a great start, Suggestions anyone? thanks Dee.

Don't think I've ever looked forward to something more in my entire life! Managed to get 3 tickets so my cousin and I surprised my younger sister with 1! It'll be her 1st KOL show (ws too young 4 both Oxegens) even though she's been a massive fan since YAYM which I made her listen to at age 10! They had to write the lyrics to their favourite song in class one day, she chose Trani and after showing it to the teacher she got a note home saying that she was listening to inappropriate music for her age! - she deserves the ticket on that alone!  |
