Okay whenever I come in here I always forget the lyrics I get wrong, but since I've been gone I've been listening to alot of KOL and in The Bucket I always thought the lyrics were
'3 in the morning come a bang bang bang, all out of facts and I just can't wait'
and I thought it was
'80's balding star'
God forbid if Caleb was all out of facts!

i look after a little boy and we occasionally (ok all the time) listen to the Kings in the car... he actually enjoys them quite a fair bit... his favourite songs are charmer and woo hoo...
anyhoo... in sex on fire his little six year old mind hears 'something to open, the shiny big pail' instead of 'soft lips are open, knuckles are pale'... which is probably a good thing...
i think the only line he sings right is 'your sex is on fire'... but its just so god damn cute!

Not being a native english speaker and on the proccess of learning english it's very difficult to me to understand what Caleb sings!  Sometimes I just think: never mind... whatever.  But you lose a lot when you don't fully understand the lyrics, although the music for itself is just great! |

It was hard enough for me to hear what he was saying the first time I listened to them and I AM a native English speaker so don't worry too much. Thanks, Banana Sam. hahaha... yes, sometimes it's like he's just humming or something, but actually he's singing the lyrics. I've had an huge problem to understand King of the rodeo, then I heard a cover and finally understand that at the end the words are: Good time to roll on. I thought there were no actual lyrics in that part of the song!!! |

This isnt so much a misheard lyric but at the beginning of Beneath the Surface I always sing " Two Grammys" even though I know thats not the words haha
