i must admitt....its such a grower.
its really not a bad album....i do wish it has a tune to melt a face off, like charmer or black thumbmail or my party like off bott....i was kinda expecting that, i guess thats why i was (at first dissapointed) but there ya go.
still dont think is untochable like the other three records. but a solid record non the less.

I"v not heard it yet.......... I"m saving myself,( its hard ) Perhaps you should wear a purity ring I have to say I really like everything about Revelry. Also, Be Somebody is rather good too. I don't like every song, but the other albums had to grow on me as well. It is definitely a more "radio friendly" body of work. I do wish the Caleb would realize that his unique singing style on the other albums was a good thing. Yes, he is showing us that he can really belt them out, but it isn't as unique and special as it was earlier in the career. I'm withholding judgment. I'm going to let it season in my ears for awhile.

Ah, I feel so guilty. I listened to some songs I'm deffo gonna buy the album anyway (me & my two friends have made a date to go to HMV after school on the 22nd to get it - we're sad) Anyway, I feel like I've ruined it for myself now, cos I've heard Closer, Revelry (which I absolutly LOVE!!) another song I wasnt at all impressed with (which is sad ) & Cold Desert (My favourite one so far!!!) I've now promised myself I'm not going to be naughty anymore, Lol, but I just couldn't wait.. x

How did the album leak? I don't understand how these things happen. I'm curious, but I can wait a few more weeks. Besides it's always been my new album ritual to buy the cd, tear off the cellophane in my car, pop in the cd and drive and drive through the whole thing. It's the best.

Well, their music is reviewed by magazines who probably get a copy of it. Plus, I'm sure the band hands out the album to friends pre-release. To leak an album, no one has to do anything really. If someone had the album on their computer that's all it takes. A file sharing program like limewire can share the music without you knowing.

I love the excitement this album is stirring up! I can't wait to go BUY the new album and add to the collection. However, i have heard the entire thing and it's soooo worth waiting and yet soooo worth not waiting. Hmmm...kinda like sex. Closer is definitely one of my favorites...i love love love everything about that song. Revelry is beyond what i can put down in words. It's more of a deep Kings but in a good way, not like in a sell out, lets do what the record label tells us to kind of way. They stay true to themselves and i think this is what they've wanted to do for a while....it's just they felt like they had an image to uphold and now that they've put that all out there, it's time for a change and a more matured Kings...
Still...nothing will ever compare to the first 2 albums...and im sure they'll put some more songs like those on the first 2...but for now im happy to see them grow and experiment with their talent.

I guess it was bound to happen then. I hope it's not something they fret over too much. It does stir up a lot of excitement and sounds like a lot of fans love it.

It's obvious to me that all the nay sayers have yet to get high to the album.
It fucking blows all their other shit out of the water. Ok maybe i shouldnt say that but this album is just so refreshing. I dont think its going to get old for me. It's going to be a classic in my book.
Who cares that its not packed with cock rockin' jams. They've already done that and any further evolution in that area would just start to get redundent. This album is such an expansion in creativity. And his voice. Well, i'd be perfectly happy making love with him crooning in the back ground.
Can't everyone just appreciate the album for what it is? You'll get more soon enough. Just enjoy what the artists have created and open up to it.
I would say though that sex on fire is my least favorite on the album. But the others are gold. And as an american i really approve of crawls political message. Really great lyrics on this album in general. Huge improvement. I feel like i actually connect to at least 3/4's of the songs on it. Maybe thats why i like it so much. It wasnt the case with the others.
I feel like we've been watching the airplane that is KOL slowly take off with each release of an album and now they're just soaring.
First post, woot.
p.s i dont see any reason to wait to listen to it. You just get to be cooler than everyone else. You're just obligated to buy it when it comes out. Believe me you'll want to.
