haha i swear i can hear the "t" on "out".. well who knows then? and they didn't give the back up vocal lyrics for McFearless so they probs wont for this. bummmer oh and does anybody thing the very beginning of "notion" kind of sounds like "i will follow" by u2? just me? YES! I already thought I could hear a little of I Will Follow in Sex On Fire, but on Notion, definitely!  |

it was far too tempting and i was far too drunk to resist from listening to this album. it is amazing, i love it, it's crazy how good they are and my instant favs are cold desert, closer and i want you. ciao x

Once I let go of the mid-90's music references in my head, and the fact that it seems so country to me, I can get into it. I like someone's previous comment that it's a "slow-burner." I think I can appreciate it just for that - I'll paint to it, smoke to it, and just let it keep repeating. I have a feeling that some of these, "Closer" especially, could be amazing live.

hope y'all don't hate me but i didn't originally have the intention of buying the album, i was gonna do what i do with all my fave bands, listen and if i like buy the album, so im not too sure if i'm going to with this one...

Err, my bro(BIIIG Kings fan) just listened to the album and he came downstairs and was like "Kings of Leon? More like Kings of the rope" :-O He says its too slow...but he's gonna listen a few more times I hope he does end up lickin it lol |
