When KOL met U2, it was the worst moment of my musical life.
I love KOL to peices, and hate U2 like nothing else, so for U2 to have tainted KOL in such a way just sucks serious ass.

All I read on this board is bullshit about girls wanting to fuck the members of KOL, seriously! I acutally cant believe the fanbase is this shit... I pray for the days of youth and young manhood but its not gonna happen... I think i will just have the last laugh and not bother with this because the fanbase is becoming N-sync esque and whorish... I mean come on girls retain some self respect these dudes would leave you with herpes in a second and not give a shit... listen to the lyrics! Its actually pathectic.. Im out I'd rather have Followill herpes than no herpes at all! Nah, kidding, but seriously - listen to yourself. If you think you're behaving better than us "whores" (It's really unfair of you to generalize like that), think again. I'm a member of HA 'cause i like good music, and that should be the one thing that unites us. wow... i've just downloaded crawl and i'm all excited! maybe it's because it reminds me when they played it live... I understand that some people don't like the way they are evolving because yeah it's quite different, it's not like y&y m, but they are growing up so i think it's normal to want to do something different...they can't keep doing the same thing forever... I love their first albums but it doesn't prevent me from loving the new songs...

Okay, I've heard the live versions and the studio one. I have to say I like the live ones better, but I'm not saying i 'like' it either way. As of now I don't like the song, it may grow on me like a lot of Kings' songs do, but only time will tell. I think the most disappointing thing about it, is the amount of effects they have in it. I like some effects, but I love the raw sound of the Kings. I loves YAYM, ASH, and my favorite BOTT. They had a lot of effects on BOTT, but nothing like this. I really didn't like the distorted tone of Jared's bass, and I usually love Matt's solos, the studio version, I can't stand, way too many effects with it. Live, it's not as bad, but still ain't my cup o tea. I don't think I'll be a fan of crawl, manhattan, time will tell as well, but I must say I really like the teaser of Use Somebody. I love the lyrics, everything about it, I was REALLY surprised when I saw Matt playing that telecaster, and I loved it. True, it's not the old Kings, thats for sure, but I like it more than the 'Crawl' Kings'.
EDIT: And I absolutely LOVE the album title, I think it's my favorite yet. I'm just sad that I can never use it now without stealing it!

i think if they like U2, but some of us don't, we must respect their liking because we love thier music, we love them. because KOL is our favourite band.
i don't like U2, but some song are good. for example, i love Sunday Bloody Sunday.

^ I agree  It's good to hear some change in people's music, rather than their music just sounding the same all the time. and they are maturing, because they were very young when YAYM was released, so as they mature, their songs are going to change and that's fine if you liked their older stuff, just don't come here and make a thread about how much you dislike a song of theirs. |

it's your opinion that the song is bad, there's no point in coming crying to us saying the song is bad.
I personally think the intro reminds me of mollys chambers. It's a really messy song and its growing on me.
