Crawl is KOL worst song yet

I actually cannot stand this song, people who think this is some kind of master piece are deluded by there own fandom for KOL, I love this band but I’m not deluded and this is a really poor effort.. People have told me listen to it live its allot better... But they fail to understand the live incarnation is a composition of the studio one which sucks bad therefore Im hatin it even more. Its just BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the lyrics are pathetic... I fear for the future of this band if this is considered worthy of an album release.. Woo-Hoo is better than this and that is saying allot...

I actually love this band but Im just hatin this song, it kinda reminds me of a bad version Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me by U2.

I agree it's not a masterpiece, but I think it's wrong to say people only like it because of their delusional fandom!
I don't agree that its a poor effort. I think they are doing something new to them on this song and album, trying out different sounds.
Anyway, I'm not going to go into it anymore on this thread. I think enough discussions are being held in other places on this forum where more literate people than I have put their thoughts down much more clearly than I have.

Well I think Crawl is amazing, I also love U2 and I think it sounds nothing like HM, TM, KM, KM.

The songs I think it resembles most...Camaro, Black Thumbnail and McFearless.

For me it is... Come on though, people who dont like U2 usually have never taken the time to listen to their impressive albums bar one or two and are usually americans who cannot fatham actually liking a composition unless the band have nice haircuts and straight teeth and lets face it, america has never been blessed with taste thank god for MGMT and KOL and The Strokes and Interpol for proving that might change in the future... Kings of Leon are heading in U2's direction in terms of aesthetics and their songs are featuring heavy digital delay and reverb, because of the times was saturated in it and by the sounds of this album it could be KOL's "pop".... a rushed effort.

I love Crawl, I really wouldn't say its their worst song, but you're obvioulsy entitled to your own opinion.

And I agree with Jonathan88 about it resembling McFearless (which is one of my fave songs on BOTT) so that is probably why I like Crawl so much

If you dont want kol to change then dont listen to anything other than them so you cant compare it to other artists
