^^ I hope so!! The good thing is tickets for the O2 gig are gone before everyone jumps on the KOL juggernaut!! I'm guessing they'll announce another Irish gig after 19th Sept tho!!! *fingers crossed*

I live in Central Florida and there's this pretty awesome station, real radio 104.1. Its mainly lie a modern talk radio idea during the weekdays, but they have really down to earth people on the air. Coming back from commercials lately they've been playing 'Sex on Fire' and 'Crawl' and talking about how much they like KoL and how they've been looking forward to the new album. I couldn't believe it at first honestly. But during the weekends they play mostly only music, like a broad mix of underground-ish music from country to rock to electronic etc. and they absolutely love Kings of Leon. Its awesome because I'm pretty sure they're the only station in florida that plays KoL. So they get radio play, but they're not getting blown to pieces the way most bands get destroyed on the radio over here in america. Ohh thanks for the info man!! I live in Tampa and the radio stations here are DREADFUL. But i do go over to New Smyrna from time to time so I'll try and catch that station when I'm over that way. If only all the other stations would follow suite right?

I think it also depends on what town you live in in the states. Like I've heard KOL on stations while in visiting Chicago and in Austin. But I'm from San Antonio. A big city with a small town mentality. We don't even get large acts to come through or even the radio shows that broadcast nationally.
So for me I've met very few people who know who KOL, who Interpol are, who Lily Allen is and ,before 'Paper Planes',who M.I.A. was. We get a few small independent films to roll through but not many. Hell, people here love Janet Jackson but we haven't had a visit from her since '97! SA is neighbors to two hip cities: Austin & Houston but we lag behind.
So I think some of us should think themselves lucky to even have KOL come to their city, even if it was just once or twice.
And I think that it's fine that KOL take their sweet time letting people get to know them. Favorite bands that I've come to know over the years are Black Flag and the Pixies, bands that are out-of-this-world good but took me a while to even know who they are. It doesn't make me less of a fan, in fact it makes a very good one because I've taken the time to attain every album and youtube old vids of them.
One day KOL will be recognized and the people who have come to love them will have come the right way. Like we all did!

Nathan once said he'd rather they build up a fanbase slowly than shoot right to the top and burn out fast - I think that's a smart strategy. And two people from the US just said on here that they heard 'Sex on Fire' on the radio...that's a great sign!!!
I'm very excited for this band!!
