^ off topic i know , but is that ryan donowho in your avatar ? XD
i'm in sydney , and they're very much unknown in the "circles i frequent" , which seem to be fairly crappy , poor-taste-type circles .
i can name 5 people i know who know (of) them . one is my sister , who doesn't like them much . one is a girl i know who says "so , how about those KINGS OF LEON !" quite loudly whenever anyone cool is around and she's trying to impress them . another is a fan , hurrah ! and two others wouldn't notice if they disappeared of the face of the earth .
which is all a bit sad , but also sort of good in that they're not going all arcticmonkeyswolfmotherINYOURFACEPOPULAR on us .

oooo i saw them last saturday, they was very good, i'm a complete music snob, i usually hate anything thats popular just on principle, i remember when wolfmother started getting popular, it really pissed me off cause i liked them!!! but i would reallly hate it if the kings got too popular, i think it makes it more special when bands arn't too popular yeah I'm weird

Are Wolfmother very popular in Aus then? I spose it is their native land. I like them a lot, I see them as the missing link between At The Drive In & Mars Volta!
Oh & you wanna try living in the UK, Kings are huge over here.

Oh & you wanna try living in the UK, Kings are huge over here. ha ha thats so funny, the first time i ever heard them, it was on channel V and they were showing footage of BDO 05, and they were playing, and i saw the singers fro and for some reason I thought it was the mars volta, so i was sitting there listening to them, like "whoa they've got a new song" but then wolfmothers name came up and i was like "oh" i kinda get the impression that the you brits actually listen to good music, so it wouldn't be so bad, but here, at least on the surface, theres alot of pop/rap lovin which i am not so much a fan of

in brazil they're popular, but i think not too much popular. I absolutely do not mean to be patronising at all & I hope it doesn't come across like that, but I completely love how you have worded this. I want to talk like that. Maybe I will from now.
