Hey, I had a question for those who reside outside the U.S. I don't really have an idea of how popular the Kings of Leon are in Europe so I'd like to hear from people who live there. Just curious...

like REALLY popular in the UK - they've been on all of our music tv shows and their tours always sell out. i dont think its that bad on the continent though.

yeah.. but I think it's not nice for the boys to play for a small audience, I think they prefer to play for many people.. and that's why they don't play here often

I live in Norway... none of the people I knowwhere I live had never heard of them before I told them all about KOL... IF they have been bothered listening to their music... they don't like it. a lot of my sisters friends in Oslo, know who they are (but then again they are into good music). when I bought YAYM and also when I bought ASH, they only had one single copy of the CD,and I had to look through all the CD's to find them, even though they had just been released. so they are not big over here, and the fact that they haven't had a concert here since 2003 (as far as I know), pretty much says it all. also... I have seen them on TV ONE time, when they played Letterman. I've never seen any of their videos on TV. but I hardly ever watch TV, so maybe they have been showed. but at least not much.

I just got back from Italy and they are not well known there either. Although I made sure I educated some family members via my Ipod!

haha! i have like 1. and that person doesn't even like them that much. it's embarrassing. some of my friends have a really bad taste in music! kol aren't that known in norway, in one way it is a good thing, but in another way not. you people in uk get to see them pretty often, 'cos there are so many fans there, but in norway, i think they've only been here once :/ it's crap. but i do understand it!

it's weird,i live in glasgow yet i seem to be the only person in my year at school to actually LOVE them,my friends know who they are because i never shut up about them..but they only think that jared is hot and don't like the music which is a bit pissy
there's a girl in the year below me that's obsessed with them....so at least i have her

They don't have many real fans here in Portugal, but I know a lot of people that love their music and that would love to see them live.

Hey! My name is Katia and I'm from Mother Russia)Well,I know and I love Kings, they are kickasssss!!!)I knew them from the russian NME (cryin...) and if I can take a second I'd like to say !FUCK YOU! to the rich papas who closed it...shit...It's very hard to be their fan in here, cause most of the people still listening for Limp Bizkit and shit like that. But we've got an unofficial site for NME where hundreds of people talking and fightin for their fav bands. I'm always on Kings side))) P.S.: Sorry.I'm not too good in english.I hope you'll understand me.
