i got on one of those kicks and thought these guys were hot shit so i joined up here. after about 2 weeks of listening to everything over and over i realize they kind of suck. they have roughly 15 decent songs. the rest is pretty shitty.

Anyway, you are of course entitled to your opinion, sir. I happen to disagree, I think the Kings of Leon are 'hot shit', as you put it. What exactly was it that made you think all but 15 of their songs are shit? And out of interest, which 15 do you like?

considering the fact that you actually like 15 of their songs you cannot say they suck. i like a few songs from the arctic monkeys, but only a few. that doesn't make them a bad band. i still like a couple of their songs. maybe you just needed a little bit of attention. and just like chandler said...you are gonna get attention with this thread title, believe me  |

they are better than nickelback, i'll give them that. How gracious of you. There are many more of their songs than those you listed that are good. How about Happy Alone? A great song by any standards. My Party, hardly forgettable? Black Thumbnail, California Waiting, Red Morning Light? EDIT: They may not have a signle song that blows YOU away, don;t generalise for the rest of us. |

if they were a bunch of old guys they wouldn't be nearly as popular. 15 year olds cant resist those tight jeans though

Actually kjam, I bet there are people on this forum who might agree with you. Some folks on here don't actually like the kings anymore but have stuck around for the chat and whatnot. But I ain't one of em, I love the Kings' music. It makes me happy and that's all that matters, right?!
And I'm much older than 15 (LOLZ!), don't generalise KoL fans!

Me being one of them. There are loads of their songs that blow me away... Oh and about the look's before music thing. I loved the kings before I even knew what they looked like. Now, what they look like is just an added bonus that really doesn't matter, just adds to the fun. |

you never know why people are on the internet i'd say just listen to their music. their sound is different. but not everyone likes it. thats normal. either way i don't wanna fight. i accept your opinion and you should accept mine and everyone elses opinion on this board. music makes the people come together, right? why don't you join the board of a band that you really like, huh?  |

another thing that makes me worry. the talk of the next album full of songs like black thumbnail and mcfearless? Those two songs are the worst songs they have written. they scream PUT ME ON THE RADIO.

i don't know any radio station that would play those two songs. i agree with on call to be a song that reaches a lot of different people out there. you don't like this band so you don't have to worry about their next record |
