i'm pretty sure the first song i heard was when i saw that matt damon/greg kinear film stuck on you...Holy Roller Novocaine, but i didn't really pay any attention...and then in year 9 i heard Four Kicks, again didn't pay attention...um but then in year 11 On Call came on and i thought *hey the lead singer looks like that Michael Pitt guy and so i researched them to see if i was right...but i wasn't and then at the end of that year (2007) Charmer came on TV and after my initial stroke and heart attack i was like *the kings of leon are amazing* and ever since then i've been a followill follower

I'm new to the Kings of Leon.
Someone played me Frontier City and I thought it was just swell.
I like Fall out boy and the Jonus Brothers and I think Ashley Simpson is a gr8 singer.
(It's not a 100% true storey, there are infactual parts to it, the fact it is said in the 1st person being one, but it's still a good example of your latest KOL fans.)

Course...the music is what makes them! They are just perfect!
Well...I have such a wide taste in music, none of my friends know exactly what I'll be into. But we all agree KOL are one of the best!

It was Red Morning Light and I was in my last year of Uni in England, so 2003. It was on a Saturday night in the Civic Centre in Wolverhampton and then my room mate constantly played it. I used to hear it through the wall every night and I was hooked.

I heard Red Morning Light on Fifa 2004 and it was amazing!! So that was like October/November 2003. Somewhere around that time a mate gave me a copy of YAYM and Joe's Head was on a Vodafone advert on the TV so those two songs were the only ones I remember giving the time of day when I listened to the album. I wasn't really a rock fan, only really liked The Strokes and a lot of hip hop at that time. But then Aha Shake came along and I fell in love with that album. Then BOTT was arriving and they became my band

First time MTV2 played the video for Red Morning Light, spring/summer 2003? Can't remember the exact time of year...I think it was before the festival season started anyway because I subsequently saw their first trans-atlantic gigs.
