First song I heard was Red Morning Light, probably on MTV2 or VH2 (as it was then) back in Jul 03. Couldn't wait for the album to come after that!!!

I heard four repeatedly when a friend introduced me to them over the summer. Four Kicks, Slow Nights So Long, Spiral Staircase, and Molly's Chambers. But Slow Nights was the first that really made me perk up and listen when I heard it and from then on I was a fan.

Red Morning Light from that car commercial. And I would sing to it everytime, because it was on so much...who knew that they would become my favorite band?

I heard "Milk" on some blog back in the Aha Shake Heartbreak days...and thus popped my Kings Of Leon cherry. To this day it remains one of my favorite songs that they've made.

First song I ever heard of KOL was Joe's Head.
My mum was listening to this...the album was hers and I remember scrunching my face up and going...
"Who is that?"
"Kings Of Leon."
The more I listened...the more I liked. The song was really out there!
Nicked the album off her afterwards and it became my favourite.

October 2005: Unfortunately I don't recall my first kol song exactly, but it was ASH and either, taper jean girl, slow night so long or king of the rodeo. i voted for and assume that it was slow night, so long, because that's the first song on the album, and it was a moment of "hey listen to this album", not a random radio, bar thing. i do however remember the first picture i saw of them. i was about to see them live and the venue's webpage had this picture up: i was like who are these dirty bearded scruffy southern men boys? little did i know that i would fall head over heels for them. (i always felt bad for matt in this pic)

I didn't think much on their looks at first. Well...I thought them groovy...but never considered them attractive. Loved the music anyhow! But then....I guess you could say I saw Sex On Fire vid and well....Nathan...my goodness!
