Back when DirectTV had music choice...they played The Bucket. I was like, "OMG". Then I saw the video on Fuse and was like, "Lead singer is cute. Drummer=beard...eww." I just loved (still do) that song. Then some months later, King of the Rodeo was released, and it was like euphoria, really. Those two songs today mean more to me than any of their other stuff to date. The Bucket was my first listen and KOTR is still my favorite song from them.  |

Then I didn't hear anything else until I saw the video for The Bucket and I was like wow!

I heard red morning light when i was in my friends brothers car. I really liked it and was like who is this? And he was like "kings of leon" After that i went and brought youth and young manhood and havent looked back since I think by the time i actually found out about them, aha shake was just about to be released, so i ddnt have to wait long for any new material eithor which was good! |

I saw mollys on musci tv. then it was ages later and i saw the bucket and loved it. Then i discovered my step mum had YAYM and thats when i fell in love  |

The first song of theirs I heard was Mollys Chambers, it must have been on the Hits TV channel or whatever rubbish was on Freeview in 2003. I was a bit indifferent to be honest and my eldest sis said she liked them and (it pains me to say this) I used to tease her about liking them  !! Then ASH came out and The Bucket was on Singstar so it kind of grew on me after singing it again and again. I soon learnt the errors of my ways and past negativity and now its love! |

Thank you FIFA for introducing me to KOL :] yes, thank you FIFA! i actually knew the kings of leon before, i read a reeeaally good article about them and when i heard RML and read 'kings of leon' i was ike 'didn't i read something about them just recently??' and then ASH came out and i got it for christmas and thats when i totally fell in love with this band. it was in 2004. 4 years now amazing! look where they're now!! |

I think it was red morning light around 2003 but it could have been Mollys chambers, i remember seeing the RML video on MTV2 and saw them all with the beards and thought what the feck is this?? i thought they all looked like they had just came off the Almost Famous tour! LOL the song kicked ass though |

First time I heard the Kings was actually during the movie "Stuck on You" when I went to see it in theaters in 2003.
I KNOW California Waiting and Molly's Chambers were on it...the other song might have been Holy Roller Novocaine?
