sel, you and i are the only ones for HRN - classic track, will forever hold a special place in my heart, lol! I heard this on Triple J and LOVED it, sat in my car in a car park through other songs just to hear it back announced, then went out and bought the album straight away... and it's been all love ever since

The Bucket is the first one I remember on the radio here. I remember hearing it regularly and dreading that these guys were going to be opening for U2. Went to the shows, realized that they were actually pretty damned good live, so I bought the albums and now they are one of my favorite bands ever.

I was Molly's Chambers too.. It was like one of those ones where you get almost assaulted by a barrage of press, and they keep mentioning the Strokes and thow they sound like 'em. and I was like. well I love the Strokes.. let's hear it. so went and listened to the Holy Roller Novocaine Ep one day and was like.. wow. so bought it. unreal

I am going to say it was whatever song is on the Holy Roller EP and that would be Mollys Chambers...

I actually heard Talihina Sky first, a m8 of mine sent me it and I liked it, so I bought their album, and I've loved the music ever since.

Ok, I'll admit to being a late bloomer. I'm sad I haven't heard of them sooner. First time I heard the Kings was a chance veiwing of the video for Charmer on the late, great International Music Feed. I was gonna be late for class and I was just turning off the tv when I saw the curtian go up, revealing four rather attractive men...sleeping? I was intrigued. So I missed my stupid bus to watch the entire thing and fell in love with the vocals (and madcap facial expressions), the murderous baseline, the rapid-fire drumming and that soaring guitar. Been a fan ever since.

^Hahah My story is less interesting or fun. The first song I heard of KOL was The Bucket on Singstar Rocks :-\

the first time i heard the kings was in 2005 when my mom would drive my brother and i to school.
he would play "KING OF THE RODEO" non-stop all the way to school on repeat!! '
i thought it was annoying as hell at the time. but now and forever it's my favorite kings of leon song
