Ive put this record on multiple times over the last few months REALLY trying to dig it. I felt that i was wrong before and that maybe i was too quick to judge.
The songs i liked originally grew on me but this album still makes me feel vomitous.
Camaro is still absolutely repulsive. The album is monotonous and will be easily forgotten once they put out the next record which HAS to be better than this one.
If you disagree with me, watch that turd of a video for 'on call', eww.
if they want to make any money off of this shitty record theyll put out mcfearless as the next single seeing how it is the only decent song on the record... ...barely.

If you hate the album stop posting on this fans forum for people who do like the albums. Youve already made it clear you dont like the album in previous posts. You dont need to tell us again youre just trying to start arguments.

Everyone has different tastes in music. It's just that simple. Obviously this cd just isn't for you. Personally, I think Mcfearless is one of the worst songs on BOTT, and you think it's the best. That's just how it is sometimes. Sell your cd on E-Bay and get on with your life. It's not that big of deal.

The ironic thing is, the rest of us still love the album, I've seen them play it live which for me has enhanced the listening experience 10 fold. You on the other hand, I didn't like when I first heard you, I don't like you now, you are getting more and more monotonus and are starting to make me want to vomit.
AND HUGH JACKMAN!

It's still pretty good, just a little different....that's what they went for.
It got to number 1, unlike their previous albums so....
Also, couldn't you have just posted it in the thread you already made, if at all...

Why are you all attacking him, he appears to be a Kings fan and the latest album isn't his cuppa of tea, no probs - you cant satisfy everyone? Knocking people out & vomitting is a little over the top.
I bought the debut album after a review by NME and loved it - sensational debut, the followup was very good - but as a big Kings fan I'm not keen on BOTT. I've seen them 4 times, last in Melbourne with Pearl Jam and again the new stuff didnt blow me away. Still dig them though. From the new album, I only really like Knocked up (great track), & My Party - I consider the rest all decent. Each to their own, a friend of mine isn't keen on the debut album, but loves BOTT, thats just the way it is.
The original poster is 100% correct on one fact - I agree completely with the 'On Call' video, its shocking.

Yeah your probably right.
On a side thought - I think their b-side track 'My third house' is pure quality and beats anything on BOTT.

I agree, comparing ASH and BOTT, Aha Shake wins everytime, absolutely phenomenal album that I will love forever, I doubt it will be topped. My Third house is great.

hmmm... well, it's true that BOTT is a "grows on you" album but that does not mean that it's a bad piece of work. i'm thankful that KOL decided to try new and different things instead of trying to repeat the sound of ASH and Y&M. one thing is for certain: BOTT establishes them as musicians that are going to be around for a long time to come, they'll create endless amounts of music and some people may not like it, but they are here to stay.
and i love BOTT. :]

lauralimonada - I reckon your spot on there, KOL would get slated if they continued with the same stuff. A sign of a good band is to experiment.
Bott is good album, certainly not slating it - just prefer the older stuff.
I think with this 3rd album they've made their mark & I wish them the best for the fure.
Terrific band all round.

I am a major fan, i went so far as to create press credentials and get a press pass from their publicist just so i could go backstage and take pictures. They were my favorite band until they unleashed the abomination that is because of the times. Im glad they got some recognition for their music, really. But Why couldnt they have reached this level with Aha shake? The singles as well as the entire record were a million times better. Before you instruct me to rectally maim myself maybe you should ask yourself if BOTT really is your favorite kings of leon album.
