Not to get this off topic and back to my original topic but does anyone know how well it sold this week? There's no mention of it in the RS album sales so if anyone can find out that would be great! RS said the big loser this week (last week it was KOL) was Tori Amos who sold just a few more albums than Aha Shake.... If someone has an account with Billboard.com they can look it up. Damn them for dissing my Tori! First it was dissing the Kings and now Tori. (*proceeds to burn Rolling Stone Magazine*) |

That is so interesting what u lot are saying about the US thing. When I went to California (mainly San Fran) me & my brother were scrolling through the radio stations but all we could find were hip hop & really random country music. When we were with KoL last time we were talking to Matt & Jared about the RS thing, & I think they expected this to catapault them into more fame than it has. They were a bit like "yeah so sorry we won't be around here much" sort of thing. Sel did u get that impression? Actually i was talking to Matt about that when u weren't there. Who was with me? Vicky? Can't remember. Anyway, my point is.... I think they expected all the press they have been doing in the US to have a bigger effect on their record sales than it has. i thought like them, i thought that after the album, the Rs issue, and all the good press they were getting was going to make it impossible for me to meet them cause i thought they were just going to explode and everyone was going to like them, but i think i was thinking to much, ireally really thought that they were going to become really famous and start touring here more, but it didnt happen and now they are going back to the UK again damn it!!! no trying to insult anyon but that just mans i wont be abl to see them in like another year, which sucks ass!!!! |

Hey there is still a rise in popularity here in North America for the Kings of Leon. They have yet to tour with U2. That will give them a boost. Damn, I hate how record sales define the "success" of a band. They sold out here in Toronto, and many other shows, does that mean that they arn't "succesful"? Bah... |

hey csolis, did you say Juanes? now there's some good music! u like Juanes to?!! i like him alot!! his music is great!!! i love the first album, i havent heard hte second one though, but i like the song from the second album. but my fav of him "es por ti" i love that song!!! my sis was going to dance that song w/ her husband for their first dance on their wedding day, but the stupid bitch decided to ance tot hat stupid a song from the movie ghost!! i hated her for that, cause "y es por ti" is just so fucking romantic!!! maybe ill dance tha for my wedding!!! so whats ure fav song? |

I just don't understand how a band like Mars Volta could sell over 100,000 copies in its first week here and not the Kings of Leon. I'm not even talking about the music of each group, I just don't think that Mars Volta has even had the exposure that KOL has had so it's just puzzling to me.

uh im thinking of buying mars voltas album, i think they sound good! gives me a nit of the creeps though but the lead singers voice is good and i like that window sont to, but theyre not as fucking as great as KOL thats for sure!!! uuuu i see another cafight coming on!!! hehe just kidding and im not really sure if salty leave is a girl, so it might not be a cat fight? but that was a bit harsh of u salty leave, im not trying to take any sides though so i dont know  |

Es por Ti is amazing, I also love Mala Gente and Fotografia w/Nelly Furtado. They're playing Camisa Negra (from his second album) a lot on the radio right now, so I'm loving that too. I need to go get that second album. That's too bad about your sis. I'm getting married in May and I'm for sure playing a bunch of Juanes songs! They're great to dance to or just to listen and enjoy. |

oh congratz on ure wedding coming up!!! i know i mean my sis really should have danced to that one, i mean before the wedding she said she was, so every time we would put it on, me, my sis and our mom started crying!!! so i could not listen to it for months cause i would start crying!!! but the stupid biotch decided not, how dumb!!! so what song are u going to dance to as ure first dance as husband and wife?
i love "fotografia" too!!! and of course "a dios le pido" its just such a great album!!!

a bit confused, is velvet revolver the band that used to be Rage Agains the Machine except now the lead singer is the guy from Alice in Chains, or is that band that used to be Guns and Roses except now the lead singer is the guy from Stone Temple Pilots? if its the one that used to be Rage Against the Machine, theyre great!!! i like them, i men i dont really listen to them but they sound great, and the lead singer sounds sooo good, if it the one that used to Guns & Roses, theyre ok

I don't have strong feelings toward them either way.
