...that whenever I see recent pictures or videos of the boys none of them are smoking....except matt. Does anyone know if the rest of them quit or if they just smoke less?

Everyone quit instead of him. Nathan is a dedicated pot smoker, though.

Caleb hasnt smoked in years.
Jared definitely DOES smoke but avoids being photographed smoking.
Nathan only smokes pot.
That leaves Matt.

This will sound horrible, but I'm actually depressed that they've stopped publicly smoking, like on stage. It was just so damn sexy when they did while performing, especially Matthew.

Matt still does smoke on stage. I've seen him do it at a couple of venues.
I think depends on how strict a venue is about that.

Yea he got fined about a million times on the Australia/NZ tour. You aren't allowed to smoke in the venues they were playing at... It made it into the paper and everything  |

i know my Kings  well, Caleb quit cuz it was messing up his voice, he was puking blood and the dangly thing in the back of his throat would swell so much, it would lay on his tongue. He smoked a bit for BOTT, cuz he wanted a raspier voice. I dont think he's been actively smoking since. I've observed Jared on few occasions smoking quite a lot, but it was always when there were no cameras present. We all know about Nathan's preferences. Well, and Matt is Matt. |

I do it regularly, and it doesn't enhance my attractiveness (not that I'm attractive to begin with) or anybody else's... unless you're James Dean or the Followills.  |

I would venture to guess that they're all social smokers like after the show after so many drinks but no one is still chain smoking except for Matt. And I would think Caleb does the least of all of them for his voice but I seriously doubt that he NEVER indulges.

True Nee about no good reason to start smoking. I smoked a few times when I was younger and while it wasn't to impress or emulate anybody, I thought I was a serious badass... but probably looked absolutely ridiculous haha, and it was miserable!

I smoked for about 5 years, starting at around 16. It was a given really that I would - every single person in my family does or has smoked. But I gave up over 2 years ago and haven't touched one since, despite still getting cravings. It's a little beyond me as to why anyone would start smoking to be like a band, but each to their own. Even though I know it's terrible for them, I think Matt and Jared look sexy as hell smoking. It's my cross to bear |
