^woah woah woah, you do? Are you able to share?
I truly believe you can only give up when the time is right for you. I know it's a cliche, but it's a true one. If people hassle you and you try to do it for them, it won't usually work. If they give you the time to make your own choice, you're far more likely to stop for good. And if you don't want to stop at all, hell, that's your decision, no-one should judge you for it. My dad has smoked for 45 years and there's no way he'll ever give up.

i can pm it to you, if you'd like? it's kind of personal, i think, so i don't want to break any rules or have him come after me with a machete ;x my dad's been the same way, same with my mom. i quit for a couple of years, and i can go months without one, or i can do a pack every few days, i guess it just depends. no one in my family actually knows i smoke, so i don't get to feel any pressure from them

It'd be brilliant if you could chenault! (sorry, don't think I know your name?) Though I'm not so sure having Jared coming after you would be so bad, even if he does have a machete

Thanks very much Mick There's things I could say about desiring being chased by him with a weapon...

Aw, almost everybody here has had a smoking experience or addiction/quitting struggle. My experience with the cigs were so blah. I did it two years ago when I was 17 to help ween off eating so much and it eating less became a daily habit to me until I didn't need a cigeretter anymore. Then I just stopped about last year September before school started and it was like quitting the habit of biting nails. I did it a few times in the winter, but was able to stop again. I can get on them and off them pretty easily and I can't understand why it's so hard for others. Probably cuz I'm not too prone to addictions my whole life. Plus, switching from Menthols to Regular would help (I love the taste of Menthols ).

Like most people who have posted, I've had asthma my entire life but I thoroughly enjoy the smell of passive smoke. I'm not really sure why, but I think it may be due to growing up with smokers for siblings. I have contemplated starting smoking to defy my impulse eating and maybe drop a dress size, but I've promised myself that if I do start, I'm not starting to emulate a public media figure. I feel rather hypocritical because I'm not happy with any of the Followills smoking, nor Johnny Depp for that matter.

hi! well i've been a smoker for 3 years now and i love it, i've never had any discomfort (asides the sore throat after 2 packs) but to be honest it has never stopped my eating, on the contrary it enhaces it 'cause certain things taste better with a ciggie, especialy sweets (at least to me)...so if that's the reason you'd start to smoke i'd recomend you not to get your hopes up good luck with dropping a dress size i'm sure trying to drop one as well
sorry if my english sucks

I definitely wouldn't recommend smoking to lose weight. I'd personally say that having a few extra pounds (and you definitely don't look overweight from the pics I've seen Leah) is the lesser of two evils and it's not worth the risk.
I was pretty lucky in that I managed to give up the first time I tried. I used patches for a few weeks but then I was away for a week longer than planned, didn't have any patches left, and thought I may as well try without them instead of spending money on more. Thankfully, I found I didn't need them.

Definitely, huh? If you dont mind me asking, at what point did it become completely definitive? You should also probably change your screen name.

You may have noticed that, but you haven't noticed that this thread is purely about whether they do or do not smoke these days.
I don't tend to trust the opinion of one so unobservant as yourself.
