I saw Pearl Jam last week; fourth time in I think 18 years. It was good to see them again, had been too long since the last time (twice in 2000 @ Pinkpop & Roskilde, only a month apart).

Well, Erin, I'm very pleased for you and a little jealous. (Seems like they were in fine form in 2000 (sad times notwithstanding)). I would have liked to have gone to Hyde Park with my daughter, but never mind.

Cheers Tic. It's cool to see a band grow, from young ones with just one album out when I first saw them to the established band they are now. They were definitely in fine form in 2000, Roskilde included till they were forced to stop there. It was almost exactly 10 years to the day last week, and I definitely got a bit emotional when Eddie asked the crowd to be nice to each other and allow each other space. Luckily also lots of smiles when he read out a letter in Dutch (surprisingly good pronunciation!) and when he told the crowd that we looked 'well done' after a long sunny day. My mum (who's 60) is currently in love with Just Breathe, but luckily she also realises that Pearl Jam is a lot louder than that, what with me going to their gigs.

Awww sorry Tic, didn't mean to make you feel bad about that. Have some karma!
I must admit I haven't always kept up with them, don't have all their albums either, but I just love seeing them when I can. I'm bummed I missed out on their 2007 performance at the same one day festival they played last week. I was shitbroke at the time, or I would've seen Kings with them there and loved them a lot earlier than I did now.
