I went to my first Pearl Jam concert last night and it was awwwwwwsssssssssssommmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! The set list was amazing, they play for two and a half hours and played what seemed like a heap of songs. thirty or so according to the set list! # Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town # Corduroy # Animal # Got Some # Brother # Amongst The Waves # Even Flow # Oceans # Lukin # Green Disease # Force of Nature # Present Tense # Gonna See My Friend # Given To Fly Play Video # Daughter - another brick in the wall at end # Glorified G # The Fixer # Do The Evolution # Encore: # The Needle and The Damage Done (Neil Young cover) # Just Breathe # Red Mosquito (with Ben Harper) # Indifference (with Ben Harper) # Jeremy # Deep # Why Go # Porch # Encore 2: # Throw Your Arms Around Me (Hunters & Collectors cover) (with Liam Finn) # Black # Spin The Black Circle # Alive # Baba O'Riley (The Who cover) # Yellow Ledbetter Eddie was really great, he kept on asking the crowd in the standing area if they were ok, checking to make sure they weren't getting squashed. The whole show was just amazing, Eddie is so great with the crowd he really interacts and gets involved. At the end he jumped off the stage and ran up and down the front of the barrier throwing out tambourines. The whole band also kicked footy's into the crown after the final song. The only weird/annoying thing was that hardly any body in the seated area stood at all. Not one person where i was seated stood up and it was really frustrating cause i wanted to but felt like i couldn't. I don't know if i had anything to do with the venue being crap - it was at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne (seats 50,000+) and they stage was a million miles from anyone and there where only two screens. The sound was also kinda boomy up the back. It was still a great gig though, cant wait for them to come back so i can see them again! The supports were Liam Finn and Ben Harper and Relentless 7. Ben was great but Liam Finn was not my cup of tea. I was so pleased when he was finished.

It was beyond amazing, they just kept playing and playing!! But it was really hard to see, i was on the floor and to the left about 20 rows back.. Ben harper ROCKED!! and i agree, i really didnt like liam finn, i barely caught the end of his support act but i had heard his music before and wasnt to bothered!! haha, the FOOTY'S!! one landed right behind me, and i nearly fell backwards... i remember the night so clearly! AMAZING! And eddie is the most amazing guy in the world. Pearl Jam will always be my favourite, that night just put like a 100 year warranty on that PS. This was a major highlight www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWHwJihcUXc

^ Aw that sucks guys! My sister was hoping to get some tickets today but I didn’t hear anything so I don’t think she was successful either On a lighter note, I went round her house yesterday and on her kitchen top I noticed a key ring which said ‘Mrs Eddie Vedder’. Lol she is so obsessed!!! (Although I secretly wouldn’t mind one either!)
