HAHAHAHAHHA OH GEORGE. I actually have about 15 of the Beatle Books, I got them off Ebay. They are the original 60's ones though. They're magical to read, especially since they're talking as if The Beatles are happening at the present time... it's like being transported back to a time you were never born in. I love it! One of them obviously belonged to a big Beatlefreak... if I hold a certain page up to the light at the right angle, I can see their handwriting dented into the book, as if they've been writing on a piece of paper that was leaning on the book. They actually wrote the Beatles Fan Club address, so I'm guessing they were writing a letter in the hope it would be published in the magazine! Gosh sometimes I wish I'd been born back then. xxx

Okay I know no one's talking in this thread right now, but lastnight I had a dream that was kinda Beatles related and I guess it should go in this thread I've NO IDEA why, but me and my best friend were in this huge castle place, and we were telling everyone it was Hogwarts and we were witches. We were in this assembly in a big hall and there was this girl and her little sister, and we were telling her little sister that it was Hogwarts and she didn't believe us. Then the older sister started telling me about how she was a lesbian and I was like "oh cool, I'm not but I swing both ways so yay for us!" And then we got sent off to class, but I'd been talking to this gay girl for so long I'd lost my friend, so I had no idea what class I was in. I just kinda followed a crowd, and suddenly PAUL MCCARTNEY pops up next to me, and I tell him I don't know what class I'm supposed to be in and he suggests we skive class. So we walk around this castle place for ages and then we decide to go to Paul's next class. We sit down and the teacher is a real old dude who's really soft and never tells anyone off, but treats us all like we're little kids. Everyone's taking the rip out of him, and Paul says something that makes the whole class laugh, and the teacher got up and we thought he was gonna tell him off. But instead... you know The Beatles covered "Long Tall Sally"? Well the teacher handed Paul this teddy bear that had really long legs and said "Here, play with Long Tall Stubby" WHAT THE FECK?!??! I have the stupidest dreams ever! So Paul started laughing his head off because the teacher was so damn soft, so he decided to make a spectacle of it. He made the teddy talk in funny voices and then he grabbed this toy digger that made an engine noise when he turned the wheels. The whole class was in stitches! And then I woke up! What but what could that possibly mean, apart from I'm an idiot?! xxx

My Beatles Song of The Day: I'll Follow The Sun
One day you'll look to see I've gone For tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun
Some day you'll know I was the one But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun
And now the time has come and, my love, I must go And though I lose a friend In the end you will know, oh
One day you'll find that I have gone But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun
And now the time has come and, my love, I must go And though I lose a friend In the end you will know, oh
One day you'll find that I have gone But tomorrow may rain, so I'll follow the sun

Great song that! I'm starting to think that "Please Please Me" is my favourite album, even though I hate to try single one out It's got some real corkers on it, covers and originals. "I Saw Her Standing There" is simple yet immense, a real dancing song with Paul's legendary intro... "one, two, three, FAH!" "Misery" is a great Lennon song, even though he wrote it for Helen Shapiro and The Beatles ended up doing it. I find it SO funny when he puts on that funny high pitched voice at the end when he goes "la la la la la la!" "Anna (Go To Him)" is a nice slow one, and they did a good cover of it. It's pretty sweet. "Chains" is great for George to sing, I think his voice really suits it somehow. It's a typical song of their time to cover too. I think their covers show that covering songs isn't lazy or bad of a band. Then we get to the legendary "Boys", sung by the legendary Ringo I actually think Ringo's voice is GREAT in it. It almost reminds me of Lennon, the way he gets raspy towards the end... and the "bop bop shoo-wop" is amazing! Then comes my ultimate fave off that album, "Ask Me Why"... I won't go into it, since I already did massively a few pages back, but the harmonies, chord changes, and just Lennon in general is amazing. Then we get the two singles "Please Please Me" and "Love Me Do", the first of which is a great rocker that always pleases more than you think for, and the second of which is possibly the most simple song ever but is so satisfying! "PS I Love You" is really sweet, and I like how Paul and John split their voices to the low and high, it works pretty well. "Baby It's You" is a Shirelles song but these guys do it BRILLIANTLY... Lennon again! That voice kills me with its sandpapery swagger Then Georgie gets in again with "Do You Want To Know A Secret?" which is soooo gorgeous and sweet, and did you know Lennon wrote it after a line in a song from Snow White And The Seven Dwarves? "A Taste Of Honey" is the oddball, I think, but it works well vocally. Quite striking actually. "There's A Place" is actually fantastic when you listen to it closely. I LOVE how the chord changes but the vocal harmony stays the same on the bit that says "and it's my mind, and there's no time". It's great! And the intense closer, "Twist And Shout" is one of their best covers. They OWN it, and I love how Lennon having a cold made his voice even grittier. And Paulie and Georgie going mad screaming and shaking their moptops going "work it all out, WOOOOOO!" xxx

Its like a themed cruise and all the captains dinners are Beatles themed and a beatles tribute band performs every other night. (Theyre fantastic, i've been to one of their concerts ) and i'm guessing they play beatles music during the whole trip and dinner would probably be Beatle themed too! its like Beatles heaven! how many times did i say Beatles in that sentence! haha awww i hope you feel better!!! have some get well karma
