Definitely. My friend told me the other day that she doesn't vote because then if things go wrong she knows she had no part in it. Personally I think that's a bit of a crap reason as it works both ways; if the country flourishes (we can dream) she'll have had no part in that either.

ah, touche!
i think everyone should vote because it took us so bleeding long to get everyone over 18 the right! if you don't then its just an insult to history. then again, for the first time in my life i'm really not sure who to vote for. i was swaying towards lib dems, but the fact that they want to leave us totally un-prepared for nuclear war frightens me a little.

I read something David Cameron said which made me... LOL "The worst thing anyone's ever said to me? If you want to cut carbon emissions, stop breathing..." AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH

SO HAVE YOU MADE UP YOUR MINDS?!?!?!
i'm voting labour. they sorted this country out after thatcher/major and, despite the recession (which we all have to go through from time to time, its how the economy works) they've done a pretty good job so far. also i just spotted a picture of my great-uncle in the local campaign leaflet.
i did consider voting lib dem, but nick clegg invaded my mind and made me have a sex dream about him last night. now i can't bare to look at him. (thank christ it wasn't cameron)

^Bahahahha, best reason ever not to vote Lib Dem If I could vote, I'd be going for Labour too Unfortunately, David Cameron is going to be in my town when the results are announced (stupid him being town MP) Unfortunately, I think Conservatives are going to get in. I want to go and throw something at him so badly...

i reckon it'll be a hung parliament. i'm yet to meet someone who's voting conservative so i don't know what all this polls nonsense is about. everyone i've met is either voting labour or lib dem. in fact i've met more green party supporters than tory. it all seems a bit fishy to me.

just close your eyes and write a cross somewhere on the paper.
labour is winning in my area, so i'll vote for them. lib dems are 2nd and the tories have no chance. in the surrounding areas its more likely to be BNP than davo.

I don't think they do, but I'm not completely sure. I'm not gonna let it stop me voting for them though. Well, thats if I do vote for them, I'm not 100% yet

I believe I know the ONE person who appears to be voting Tory - my father in law I already voted postally for Lib Dem. They always win in my area anyway and I like our local MP; he's very hands-on and keeps the public well-informed. By the way, Jem (PeanutButterDragon) shared this with me t'other day. You may have already seen it, but it's bloody hilarious!

I wish someone had done that with me, I was quite in shock with my first voting experience today. It was the most informal thing ever, I was quite surprised.
My polling station was a porta-cabin on a bit of grass on the street next to mine. 2 little wooden booths and a table with 2 casually dressed men.
I don't know what I expected really but it wasn't that lol.

What is going on with this country? Pffft David Cameron!
My constituency stayed labour, but they were down 11.7%, lib dems came second. One constintuency next to me, lib dem gained from labour. And on the other side of me, conservatices took it from labour.

*runs in from the other side of the world* Can I be totally ignorant and ask what the results actually mean? Because neither got a majority right? So is it up to Clegg to chose who to form who to form an alliance with and that's the winners? (these are strictly legal terms I'm using ) Or can Cameron team up with other small parties to lead?
