Thank you, understanding karma for you babyblue. T in the Park will be good but I was really excited about seeing them in a small venue as I doubt they will be playing anywhere smaller than arenas again. Nevermind! It could be worse, I heard one guy bought a ticket outside Razzmatazz for 400 euros from a tout minutes before it was cancelled. Now that would hurt!

poor me!! he broke my heart and my bank, i break his legs i think he´s got the beter deal lol omg i know how dissapointed you must feel! i know there's lots of disappointed fans out there but i just hope the kings are feeling better soon! they are perfectionists with their live performances and i know they wouldn't cancel if it wasn't something serious. i don't know what i would do if i was in your position, honestly. it's easy to say, "oh i wouldn't be upset, i forgive them" and whatnot. but i'm not in that sitaution. i just hope everyone remembers that KOL do read these forums and I'm sure they're already feeling down on themselves so it's not a good idea to make them feel worse. feel better boys!! i was just joking about all that leg breaking stuff, but even though i know its not their fault they had to canel i am pissed off and so gutted that i didn't get to see them play and that i spent so much money to go to barcelona and madrid i really hope caleb and ? get better soon and don't have to cancel any more shows

Well, that was a waste of time! Got the tix & trip to Barcelona for my man as a Xmas present, spent a fortune on flights/hotel/spending money, only to turn up on the night & guess what, it's cancelled!?
Now, if the guys are genuinely unwell, then I wish them all the best.
However, if the rumours are true - not wanting to play a small venue, or partying too hard with Oasis the night before (they did this in December in Dublin too - I was there & saw the evidence! Oasis were in Barcelona on Friday for a gig) then, sorry but I have every right to be be p'd off & disappointed.
I doubt we'll ever find out the whole story, & it'll be interesting to see if they turn up at the Brits on Wednesday.
So if you are genuinely unwell guys, then get better soon. If not, then it's a poor show to treat fans like that, loads of whom came especially to see you, from Scotland (like me) & further afield.

I think she means she saw KOL partying hard with Oasis the night before their Dublin gig?

And didn't Caleb run off stage during Manchester, or one of the UK dates anyway to be sick? So it can't be drink related... By the way not ganging up on you anndie, just sayin

I really don't think it's fair to say that the illness is fake. That's a bit harsh on them. I doubt they would cancel a show if it wasn't so bad.

I can totally see why people would be hugely disappointed but I have 100% confidence that the kings wouldnt cancel a gig without a very, very good reason...in reality the reason is none of our business really

Also they've cancelled two shows, so surely if he was hungover or whatever then he would be well enough for the next gig?

Don't shoot me down in flames guys, all I'm saying is that it could have been handled better by management or whoever.
We turned up to the venue to find 1000s of angry people and a A4 note pinned to the door to say it was off.
No explanation at that time, or anything.
As for the Dublin reference, I was there in the Clarence Hotel that night, and lets just say they like to party hard with Oasis. As for cancelling Barcelona because of partying too much, if you re-read what I said, I did say it was just a RUMOUR.
I'm disappointed because it was a Xmas present for my man, and I was upset later to hear they were ill, so a double blow for me.
I also didn't say their illness was faked. We all have sick days, and they are allowed them as much as we are!
I;m just frustrated at the way it was handled.

i'm so upset. I was there... 4 hours quequing. And 5 minutes after the doors opening they made us go home. I nearly cryed. I was waiting for this concert since I knew them. We spoke later with a man from the staff, and told us Caleb (only Caleb, no other band member) wasn't feeling allright. The shit of all this is that I've read from a guy of lastfm.com that he finded Caleb and Lily eating at a bar on Barcelona next day... as if nothing had happened.
They broke my dream... the only option I had to see them in concert (not in a Festival). And I know they won't come here again. Because.. why should they do If they're back for the FIB (benicassim's festival)?

Honestly, some of you are overreacting. He probably had something on his voice, which is a very plausible explanation for him not being able to perform AND him to be able to sit in a bar with his gf. He doesn't have to be plastered to his bed you know.
And if he just wasn't feeling like performing, well, his problem I guess. If it happens more often, karma will turn on him, no?

Also met Nacho. He told us Caleb was with the doctor... if it was only a voice problem... dunno' ... he wouldn't be with him. I'm not saying he can't get sick. Of course not! he's human! I just want some consideration from their part. And as far as I know... they won't give us that. That's why I'm reacting this way.

just stay positive! i'd be completely bummed as well if they'd cancel their gig in cologne next week. heck, i'd be devastated! but let's not be so suspicious, i've had food poisoning as well last year, i was pretty okay the next day.. not 100%, but I think I could manage dinner with my partner as well oh, and to the above: i don't know of any musicians who wouldn't go see a doctor if they'd have voice troubles, that's the first thing singers do.. but okay, it was food poisoning I guess
