I think Oxegen is a great fest. It's good times. The only negative things about it are the same nasty features you find in every festival I think( ie toilets, fast food and mud). If you're up for a laugh and don't mind getting a bit dirty than Oxegen is great fun. If you hate people, alcohol, loud singing coming from outside your tent at night and fearing the ugly porta-loos then you're better off at Electric picnic.

was my first year at oxegen last year, but my mates had went for years and they aint goin bak, because more and more dance acts are gettin added, ul get more of a chav crowd.
and yes the prices are crap, was 2 euro for a bananna lol
every tent around me plus mine had stuff stole from it, and there was bit of a bad atmosphere in the campsites.
sayin that tho the actuall music was amazing, and the kings perfromance was unreal. im not gona camp it this year, just gona go for the day!

oooh we need a happy alone flag! Are you going this year? Last year was brilliant. Most of my favourite bands were all in the same place. My only regret was that I missed MGMT

I'd say I will go, I'm a bit sick of going now but all my friends are going and my mam said she'd buy me a ticket so there's no point turning that down! I actually loved last year, compared to the year before anyway, I hated the year before! I saw MGMT, they weren't that amazing cos they didn't get to play very many songs but they were good and everybody was mental!

Alot of HA people met up there last year . ha, thanks for the offer i will have to hold you to that! whitewhickerchair - don't know how to quote you too but yeah i think you're right, if you have an idea what to expect it helps too but it's what you make it and who you're with that counts - definitely we can all arrange to get right in the front irishmick - a friend of mine's family lives near punchestown and she's offered their house to me!!! i don't even know them but that's the hospitality of the irish for you! so i might do the one day thing too but it's all just forming in my head at the moment... it would be so great to be there with you guys tho - to be part of something that big and be able to share it with like minded people - storing up memories to keep me going in my old age!!
