Hey! I'm new here and had no idea that "17" was so hated! I personally love that song, and I'm an old school KOL fan. I think that if you don't quite "get it" yet you should maybe go and listen to The Proclaimers murder it completely. It sure made me appreciate it a lot more! Anyhow I'm completely biased and think KOL can do no wrong  hey softrazz! & welcome i know i like 17, i started a 17 Appreciation thread haha and i agree KOL can do no wrong  |

this album is the first album of theirs that i had to listen to a couple of the tracks a few times before i got them. like 17, i really quite like it these days i havn't heard the proclaimers cover!! *youtubes* i love it when people cover their songs, it really does make you appreciate the original so much more lol i've seen the video, ... that's funny! haha |

Hi Mair, thank you! Whiskers, I know what you mean about needing to listen to some tracks more than usual in order to like them. I wasn't sure about "I Want You" at first, but now I love love love it! And The Proclaimers, funny? Hmmm, i'd quite like to rip their vocal chords out right now so they can't do any more damage! yeah Whisk...I thought I'd get utterly sick of Use Somebody with it being on EVERYthing ALL the time....but I still have to stop and listen/watch...draws me in every time. LOVE it.

I know this isnt a big deal to anyone who lives anywhere but in the US,but OTBN is #17 on the charts!!! Last week it was #18 so that means it's going up! |
