Actually it would be good if they played it, at least we'd still know they like to mix it up a bit and don't mind including it back into sets. Still be a bit jealous though.

I think i'm luckily in the same group as brighton and nottingham who got it this tour so i'm forever grateful. and like many it was trani and arizona i needed them to play and they did. this song is pretty much genius. i dont know about you guys, but personally i think their performance of this at glastonbury is the best ive seen.

I saw this thread and just HAD to gush on how much I agree with you! Arizona is an incredible song in every way possible! I can't even begin to describe what it does to me I guess it's the instrumentation. Each person does something so wonderful that fits perfectly and not a note is wasted. I particularly love Jared's basslines. I don't know how he came up with that but I want some of whatever he's been taking! I forget how much KOL songs are driven by the bass. Arizona is a perfect example. It just makes it so much more interesting than your typical three-note drawl. Caleb's guitar part is very nice. Caleb does quite a few riffs that slide in this manner, and they're all very pleasing. I like how this one mimics the vocals roughly. And of course, my fave part (as you may have heard in other threads ) is Matthew's riff. It's bloody AMAZING. It just brings the song a whole new level of softness, and it makes me feel so joyful to hear it! Even Nate's drumming is perfect. Not to hard for the pace of the song, but not too quiet to lose its effectiveness. Sorry for wittering, but every time I hear this song it's just like AAARGH!

Does anyone find they skip it? Not in a bad way, say I'm with friends or something or I'm not alone I don't like to listen to it cos I can't give it all my attention, so I save it for special occasions YES! All the time, I did it twice today. I tried that with Use Somebody to not get sick of it, but it didn't work. For a long time I thought I would never be able to choose a favourite KOL song, but then one day I realised it was Arizona. I love the way the lead quitar is so wild and slips everywhere but the rythme just keeps in down anchors it all together. I like it that there's that time about a minute from the endyou think it's going to end, but then the solo starts again. I like it the line where it says "She shakes, like the morning railway" and the bass starts so shake again, mimmiking it. I soothes me to sleep all the time. I was wating for them to play it at Dublin and cry, but they didn't, I was so sad.

I could get rid of every other song ever and it would be alright. I can have it on repeat like 10 times & not mind.

I think in another thread somewhere I said it was the one KOL song I couldn't live without hearing. It's pure perfection. As soon as the intro starts I get chillbumps [as Caleb would say ] and I just lose myself in all it's gorgeous glory. *sigh* I need to listen to it right now.

I still cant understand the logic behind that vid where they cut Arizona for Milk............... i love Milk but Arizona would beat every other KOL song hands down for me, especially live!!!!!!
