This is what Caleb said in NME this week, about the new album > Caleb says, " We worked on a few songs yesterday, in my opinion, they're a lot cooler than anything we've done. They're faster and edgier. With this last album we came up with melodies that felt like people could relate to them, so we went with it. But i dont think the next record is going to be easy for people to sell. I think its going to be more self-induldgent. We always write things we enjoy but the next one, we're allready looking at each other like , wow ...." cool or what, already waiting for it !! you should read the article, its quite good, and they take the P out of nashville and all about ALL their cousins ! read it, you will know what i mean !!

Luckily for Caleb, he has quite some fans with money burning in their pockets and a hunger for new material But I thought they wanted to become really big, this is dissing future grammy nominations then??? But good one Caleb, looking forward to the next album. And thanks for posting!!!

Lets just hope they got it out of their system, yes? Not saying i dont appreciate OBTN, though they could have left sex on fire out of it, or at least put cooler lyrics too it. But I think this is what we all wanted to hear. If the album turns out how he says it is, then we can finally kick the ones that said they were sell outs to the curb. They're intelligent they know whats up, and what their true fans dig. I'm so down for a weird edgy masterpiece. I didnt think they would turn soft on us for that long. Caleb's too brooding for that.

Exactly, he's said time and time again that he loves to do unexpected and if people expect another album full of 'Use Somebody' then they're going to be dead wrong

Let's hope they'll do what he says though. There were supposed to be more rocking songs on OBTN and we only got Crawl.

Not saying i dont appreciate OBTN, though they could have left sex on fire out of it, or at least put cooler lyrics too it. Agreed!! I'm so excited for this new album now because I'm expecting this one to blow my mind. I love Caleb's singing voice and all but I would love to hear atleast one new song where he brings back the screaming/mumbling!

I am excited about the news but feel the need to have a moan... about NME none the less. Has anyone else found it disappointing that The Boosh got like 4/5 pages (can't remember which) and that The Kings only got 2???
