this probably won't get much attention being in 'site stuff' but i want to hear more accounts of meetin the guys! so i'm bumping this! Me and my friends have met them twice. The first time was last June, and they were absolutely lovely, Caleb especially. I was a bit scared when he came out 'cause he looked really pissed off about something, but he was really sweet and talked to me and my friends for a bit, and seemed really surprised when my sister asked him how he was doing. Jared did his schoolgirl giggle thing after he took a picture with my friend–He had just signed some stuff for the rest of us, but my friend didn't have anything for him to sign. So he offered to sign her camera, and then kinda jokingly waggled the Sharpie he was holding at it. She declined, and he was like "Well, y'know... Some girls..." and then giggled. Matthew was a sweetie–he posed for a picture with me, and the flash kept fucking up, but he was really nice about it. Nathan was pretty cool too. He always seems really funny. He signed an autograph for my friend and then laughed and said "Heh, it looks like it says 'Ralph' but don't worry! It says Nathan!" The second time was in October, and as me and some of my friends were walking into the concert hall, we saw Nacho sitting on the back steps! He waved at us, and me and my friend Harper realized who it was, but my sister Madd and our friends, Jo and Frank didn't notice until right after we passed him, so we turned around and went over to say hi. I love Nacho! He's definitely my favorite Followill. Frank went right up to him and said "Dude! I'm like, in love with you!" and he did this awesome hyena laugh and was like "Heh heh, alright!" He talked with us for a bit and took pictures with all of us, and Jo gave him a card she made him. Madd was really sad 'cause she accidently left the one she made him at home. After the show, we met the guys again, starting with Jared. Jo was having him sign this sketch of the band that I'd done for her, and as he was signing it, he was like "Ooh, this is cool!" and she pointed at me and said "She drew it!" He was like "Awesome!" and I said something like "Nah, it's kind of a shitty sketch" and probably blushed, and then he said "No! It's good! I like it!" Matthew was the second out, and everyone was still kind of fussing over Jared, so Harper yelled, "Matthew!" and waved. He did this really adorable little smile and waved back and we got some pictures with him. Caleb and Nathan were the last out, and they were both wasted. Caleb did not look in the mood to sign autographs, so I steered clear of him, and in the photos he got with my friends, his eyes are huge and he has this really funny forced smile...He looked kinda like an owl. I felt so bad for him though, 'cause Frank (who is verrry self-centered) chased after him and was like "Hey! I didn't like the picture we got! Can I retake it?" For a second I thought Caleb was gonna smack him–He did not look happy. He kinda did this big sigh and posed for another photo, and then walked off. Nathan was pretty off his face too, and said something about seeing 2 things at once, but was pretty cool all the same. We were about to leave, when an older guy walked out. Harper and me recognized him as The Leon, and Frank, noticing the VIP pass around his neck, jokingly said "How much is that thing worth?" Leon chuckled and said "Oh, more than you know, son." Then noticing the name on the pass, Frank said, "Wait a minute...Does that say Followill on it? Are you related to Kings Of Leon?" He laughed again and said, "Son, I'm the Leon." He talked with us for a bit and was really cool, and then as we were leaving said "Thanks for supportin' my boys!" I hope that was a good enough account! I'm going to see them tomorrow night, and might meet them again. Ya never know...  |

I too am determined to meet them if I get to see them perform. How long did you guys have to wait for them to come out? And where abouts were you waiting? Round the back of the venue or something? Oh and karma for typing up your KOL encounters.  |

Hmmm...They usually don't take too long to come out–We waited only like 20 or 30 minutes. The first time we met them was 'cause a janitor at the venue we were at came over to us and was like "If you want to meet them, just go out that door to the back!" so the second time around, we went to the back again...So yeah, I'd say the back is the place to be! I wonder if some venues don't allow you to go out the back though?
In addition to that, I'm afraid that everyone will have the same thinking as me and there will be about a million fans waiting for them, and they will end up not coming out
