A reliable sourse has informed me that Kings Of Leon will again support U2 during there world tour in 2009. No word yet about how many shows or what continents though. U2 will be touring the whole world for big stadium shows starting in the Spring 2009. The tour will be announced either the start of December or early January 2009.

Hmmm. U2 UK dates in June then to coincide with their 2 new arena dates??
Maybe that's the explaination behind there only being 2 dates..

Well actually last time the Kings supported them it was for the US dates only wasn't it?
U2 usually have different support bands for each leg of the tour. I think it was Athlete/Doves/someonelikethat last time they were over here.

I really don't think that's happening. I'm about to blow what little money I have for New York. I've never been out of the US. I don't know anyone, and I don't trust anyone. So yeah, if they don't come over here, then I'm most def. not going over there. No offense.

It would be nice, but I can only imagine what my parents will say. "First you go to NYC alone to see this band...and now you're going to another country?!" At which I'd reply, "but it's U2...and the Kings!" My Dad would understand why I'd go, but that doesn't mean they'd let me. And this is one trip I cannot do solo.

I was bummed I miss those shows. It would have been the best of both worlds for me really. I hope they can do it again, but either way, at least they're both pairing up again.

Oh I hope they do an Irish show, minus U2!! Ah would ya ssshhh woman. Sure it'd be great, for all the shite Bono talks and the knocking down buildings etc. the boys can still put on a good show. I havent seen them since Slane and to have both bands together would be like having my cake and eating it (Aw man I shouldnt have mentioned slane It would be soooooooooo fecking amazing if they played there but i know it won't happen thanks to some manc feckers getting to play there this year ) [glow=red,2,300]JESUS JAS YOUR SIG ROCKS [/glow]
