Its about Vince, a hot actor in hollywood, and his mates i.e. his entourage!! I think its quite funny, give it a go definately  Mark Wahlberg (sp??) is producer and this is why I cant understand the NKOTB comeback, I'm sure he didnt need the money |

Yep, and they were both set to be in NKOTB but then Mark decided against it for some reason and did his whole rap thing
So it makes sense that the producer is Donnie, if you say that he wouldn't need the extra money....

Man guys.. I think i officially have to turn in my KoL fan card now. I dont think its wrong at all for the band to allow their music to be used in shows, movies, commercials.. whatever. I was actually kinda excited when they were on Entourage.. But at the same time, you have to admit that the kinds of shows they authorize their music to be played on is a direct reflection of who they are trying to appeal to as a fan base.. And no offense to some of you who like the show.. but from the perspective of a 26 year old chick, this just screams "we want teenyboppers googling to find out it was us who sung that song on Gossip Girl last night".. not exactly the same demographic that has enjoyed their earlier work. Ya dig? I'm just really disappointed that this is the direction they have chosen to go in. From what I hear they havent been too thrilled to play their US gigs thus far, and that's wicked confusing because that is who they said they wanted this album to appeal to. The wider US audience. Which, again, good for them that they are getting the recognition they deserve.. But the way they are going about it leaves me feeling a little dirty if you know what i mean LOL. Sorry for the rant. Maybe i'll change my mind, but for now i cant stand behind them for some of these ridiculous publicity opportunities they are allowing their music to be a part of.

I have to say I dont understand this "I'm leaving KOL behind" malarky at all!!!!! Can people not just listen to the songs they love from the other albums and still be fans??? Smite me if ya like but I'm thinking over-dramatic! i dont just mean that to you homegrown but to anyone who feels the need to post that they are not fans anymore, whats the point? |
