I was just stopping in to mention this as well...I like how they have only been used in scenes with Serena and the grotty hipster...almost like a soundtrack to their relationship.

They've done a really good job with the music on this show. I especially liked the use of "Womanizer" for the Chuck Bass TV spot.

I was coming on here to mention it as well (just saw the episode on the Internet).

I remember they used 'Hard to live in the City' by Albert Hammond Jr in the very first episode. They have continually used good music in my opinion. Though I think Sex on Fire, Closer, Be Somebody and then Sex on Fire AGAIN at the end, is a bit too much.

Anyone noticed the poster hanging above Chuck Bass' bed? It's the same painting of the girl used in the Strokes' First Impressions of Earth booklet on the page of 'Razorblade'. Haha, I haven't looked at that booklet for ages, but I instantly recognized it.

The Strokes, Kings of Leon and Gossip Girl. Good combination in my book.

I think it's only a matter of time before a KOL song pops up on Gossip Girl...and that's not a bad thing!

I have been anticipating their songs on Gossip Girl but I was still shocked and.....I can't say disappointed... but I was feeling weird about it...

I love Gossip Girl. And I'm not a teenager, not even close. It's a really good show, it's my favorite. I was very excited.....my favorite show and my favorite band! Who could ask for more! They are becoming mainstream people, I think we should get used to it and quit griping! I really think they are going to reach legendary status in my lifetime and I'm happy for them!

I've said this on the acutal Kings board but I'll say it here too. I'm not upset that their music was on a show, I just wish it was a more respectable show instead of such a teeny blah show (no offense hamchop). I can see them being on The New 90210 next.
