I did say around 6000 were not into so that does leave anoth 5000-6000 who were into mate. I think i know which group of folk you meant. I saw a proper group of die hards go mental near the front when Joe's Head kicked in and another huge lot in the middle. Was Brilliant and Caleb was on superb form. I'd say I agree with you, quite a few people weren't 'into' it. It was obvious a lot of people had only heard the new album and even then a few people near me only seemed to come to life through sex on fire and use somebody. I think they enjoyed it I think they just didn't know the stuff. I did enjoy Caleb being humble and saying how much he owes being on that stage and being as big as they to the fans. Maybe thats one of the reasons the threw in Joe's Head for all the die hards? Maybe it was the Grammy Nominations that had Caleb in such a good mood. Whatever it was i've never saw him so into the whole gig. Usually he's so intensely into his pefermance but he had a cocky swagger that was brilliant to see he just owned that stage. Was abit sad seeing the crowd coming to life during SOF but balls with them Becs they'll never know how excited we felt when Caleb whailed out about his Fat Friend Fred. Fuck i still cant get over how good it was!

Totally It never bothered me that they weren't getting as much out of it as I was, hell its their loss! I was amazed. Hopefully a few of those people went home and listened to some of their older stuff after loving it last night. Pull them in with sex on fire then blow their minds with a bit of Trani and Joe's head

How can anyone not get chills hearing Trani live? That was the first gig i've managed to get through with having painkillers midway through to keep me going. Just pure Adrenaline get me going. I think they mixed the set perfectly! Do you fancy going back to yesterday and seeing it all again Becs? Fuck i wish i could!

If I could I would. I wish I was going to another one on this tour but I don't think I'll be able to now.
Have you seen them before?

That was my 4th time becs and i have to say if it was not the best it was very very close to it. I really am not a big fan of the new stuff much so for me hearing them "Come Alive" when they played them live meant the world to me lastnight.

It was the first time for me so I have nothing to compare it to but I think I'd have been just as amazed. I don't love the new album as much as the other 3 but hearing them do the songs live does it so much justice! I like the new album but I think if I was someone that didn't last night would have won me over.

Yep they won me over with them! I couldnt have asked for much more from that gig lastnight. I wanted either Happy Alone or Joe's head n got one. We got 4 From YAYM and most of ASH was just brilliant.
City Hall a Good few years back was amazing that might still just be number 1 for me. Well they did sing Head to Toe that night so it was super special. Put Peformance wise that the best i've seen Caleb

I still can't believe how AMAZING they were last night. I was so impressed with the set list, I think the only song I wished they had played but didn't was California Waiting. With the exception of a few silly little girls, the night was perfect. I got a fantatic view of the boys, especially Caleb. It wasn't until the end that I realised how close we were to the front.
Caleb talked more than I thought he would and he was really sweet. I liked how humble he was in thanking us all for being there and supporting them.
I also loved their performance of Trani - until last night it was probably my least favourite KOL song but it was just amazing.
I think the possibly highlight for me was when they played Manhattan and Caleb came to the side of the stage, like right in front of where we were stood and did a little kind of wiggly dance. They were definitely on top form last night.

Aaahhhhh, what an amazing gig it was last night! That was the 6th time I've seen them and it was up there with the best. Every song sounded mint and it was great to hear Wasted Time and Joe's Head. If that wasn't enough we were lucky enough to be the first to hear Notion played live!!!
I feel a bit depressed today after the high of last night, and I'm totally kicking myself for not trying to get a ticket for one of their UK shows in June.

arg! i seriously don't know whether to be mad at those boys for NOT playing these on the California leg of the tour or if I should be super happy that they're being played at all....

The gig was great. I loved every minute of it. Just hearing Joe's Head live was amazing for me. Also the fact that they played Notion for the first time. I loved Newcastle as well. the people were incredibly friendly. We went to Liquid/Envy after the gig and then the next day we went to the Dog & Parrot for a few hours before our flight home. Had a great time. And got to see snow for the first time in years!!
