Heh......well just to be sure, Ill ask a semi related question: When Caleb talks bout 'Kerosine' in Revelry, what does he mean? "with a fire in my bones and the sweet taste of kerosene"...love that line in Revelry. I think he's referring to liquor or moonshine when he mentions kerosene which is a type of fuel and we all know that liqour fuels the KOL boys Moonshine - smuggled or illicitly distilled liquor, esp. corn liquor as illicitly distilled chiefly in rural areas of the southern U.S.

I absolutely love every line in Revelry, feel like crying every time i hear it (unlike cold desert, which i like but really don't see what all the fuss is about) Been listenin to a lot of Townes van Zandt recently (thanks to caleb for the introduction to his music) and can really feel his inspiration on this album espec on Revelry. " living on the road, my friend, was supposed to keep us free and clean. now you wear you skin like iron, your breath's as hard as kerosene"-- townes van zant "the ballad of poncho and lefty"

I literally thought that it was the smell of kerosene, like he was remembering some time when he was dancing and in a barn or whatever (that's what us country folk do). A lot of people like that smell, I really hate it, it gives me a headache. Who the hell knows heh This is coming from a man who wrote YAYM and ASH after all haha, true that.

"You told me you loved me, that I'd never die alone, hand over your heart, let's go home"
It kills me every single time.

From the moment I heard the album...it was "Ive never ever creid when I was feeling down, I've always been scared of the sound, Jesus don't love me, noone has ever carried my load, I'm too young to feel this old" - Cold Desert
but also
"Showing No mercy, i do it again" - Closer
"We're gonna show this town, how to kiss these stars" - Manhattan
"So I Drink and I smoke and I ask you if youre ever around, even though it was me who drove us right in the ground" - Revelry
"Was this youre big plan, that gun in your hand" - Be Somebody
