It seemed like they were a little shaky on sex fire,
but they made me really like Use Somebody when they played it live.
Even the backup vocals were solid.
Now that I think about it, use somebody does sound more like True Love Way,
but a lot more like ColdPlay -- in regards to all the feces.

Yeah they didn't seem full relaxed during SOF on Jools either.. but they were first on. I'm glad they did well  Looking forward to hopefully seeing it! |

completely agree on Use Somebody sounding like something from Coldplay (don't know yet if that's a good or bad thing cos i love Coldplay but obviously their sound is different from KOL. can't compare them)

whoops need an edit on my last post: i guess people don't think they sound similar to Coldplay?
there's a certain grandiose sound to Use Somebody that reminds me of a couple of Coldplay songs like Viva la Vida and Lovers in Japan. and just as an aside...double, it's too bad you don't like Coldplay. i'll admit for a time i didn't like where their sound went (X&Y album) but they've re-entered my good graces. sorry i'm kind of off the subject now. back to KOL and SNL

I actually just got around to watching (I had only just seen a few seconds while the TV was muted). The performance was pretty good for a TV performance. Use Somebody was much better than Sex of Fire. Off topic: On a plane ride back from NY last year Jason Sudeikis was on the same flight as me.  |

i was just watching the promo on nbc...no suspenders in the promo. but the expressions on jared's face. never noticed how expressive his eyebrows are
